Has anyone succeded to unlock MDA III phone?
If yes, please tell me how to do that.
Maybe it will work if someone send me files rilgsm.dll and simlock.exe from /windows directory of non-locked MDA III device.

it's my first time here. I need help, how to unlock the MDA Vario II. I read something about Lokiwiz03b here in the forum but i coulnd't find the software here. There is no link where i can download the software. The next question is, is the lokiwiz software the right programm to unlock the pda.

Right now there is no free tool to unlock a Hermes, as far as I know. But at http://www.imei-check.co.uk/m3100unlock.php you can unlock it for aprox. 30,- €.

I might be intrested in using your unlock program.
I got a mda compact 3 from the netherlands (wifi enabled)
and I intend to flash it to a dopod rom
ROM version 1.13.114.1 NLD
ROM date: 9/22/06
Radioversion: 02.49.90
protocolversion: 4.1.13.25
however I do want to know what version you used and if it could brick my phone
(and if it is recoverable with the bootrom)
Im also intrested if the hack will goaway on your device after a hardreset (only need it to be unlock long anough to flash )

I only have *Dutch* MDA Compact III's (T-Mobile) for the moment...

If you want an easy and secure way, then just wait until HTC releases the official WM6.
However, i have the WWE rom on my unlocked P3300 (original TMO Dutch). Read through that topic, it's quite straight forward and easy to do.
is there a posisbility to get the WWE rom in german???
I simply installed the O2 Image on my unlocked TMob MDA C III... Works fine and no problems during the upgrade.
