This work is based on Dopod Test ROM but it adds some tweaks/fixes/apps!!!

What string did you use to get Windows Live to search google? When i tried it only searched the first word or put a %20 in between the words.

Hey Peeps.
Just a note to inform you that the Sip Config Tool is still under development.
It was not ment to being released as part of roms yet.
The cooks that approached me for permission would have found that out.
Pleaes direct all comments / questions / thoughts to this thread
There will be release within the next couple of days that allows you to switch between "Configuration Profiles Easily"
PS. Other Cooks take note NOT FOR RELEASE IN ROMS ..... yet

Sorry for no contacting you about including your tool in the ROM. As I see it cooked ROMs can have little problems because of the software included but bug reports are always welcome...I imagine this also is good for you if someone tells about any problem with your application.
I/we will welcome any new release, I can assure you it will be included in next 3des releases

I tried the old version for a few days, and for me...it was sluggish in general.....was this a common issue reported?
of course it might not have been the Rom perse, but I add very few apps.
Just wondering how the speed feedback was in general, though.

Sorry I forgot to mention SMS Backup is included also, look at the SMS menu.

I think ppl should be smart enough to report bugs about ROM here...and bugs about tools directly to their authors.

There's no problem with flashing again same SPL and Radio, but if you still want an OS only NBH, tell me, will upload to rapidshare/megaupload.

This ROM is based on the 1.35 Europe Version from HTC
WM6.1 CE OS 5.2.19588 (Build 19588.1.1.4)
Now, you MUST have HardSPL INSTALLED before you can install this ROM.
(and no i dont know if it works with the dollypro version, as i dont want a $700 brick)
Now back to the issue at hand, i have cleaned out the HTC ROM and removed / changed the following
AutoUpdate (as this will NEVER WORK)
Replaced .Net CF 2.0 with 3.5 (Massive Speed Improvement)
Removed the WelcomeCenter (no one uses it)
Removed the sample music
Tweaked the RAM allocation
Enabled HSUPA (disabled by default)
Enabled the usual SecurityProfiles (RAPI etc)
Removed that (gay) HTC startup jingle
Specs
Free RAM on first boot is 60MB
Free Storage is about 90MB
(and this is only the start of things to come!!)
A speed improvement by at least 30% (i reckon anyway)
Many thanks to the usual crew

i left the gplycache at Auto and the same with the FATFS as i've been testing this for weeks and modifying those values seems to cause some stability issues with the diamiond, so i worked on the RAM allocation and running processes, but this is a work in progress and this is only the first release of MANY!!!

Yes, released sooner than we anticipated.
However, this also means that Hard-SPL Developer Edition will be made available *TODAY*

Thanks for fast reply, working on a rom which uses the gsensor.dll and interfacing this with manila using LUA scripts and XML to create a motion based UI. this project would ultimately become an API or SDK for others. Thanks

Installed without issues as well. seems fast. I'm not getting the free memory of 60mb, only showing 47mb but I didn't check before activating activesync exchange so that's probably about right.

That would be great. I've moved away from MS Direct Push (because it's gay) - been using Intellisync for the past week and would also like to try my company's BB service to see which is best.

170 chars with greek letters is not supported. Try to use another soft keyb.
(check sms options and disable unicode) ....

Thank God there is no ACE's dll in that rom, otherwise we might end up in jail!

Yes... but they already have the Greek language installed! I think it worths the 10MB in order to be included in the ROM. My opinion of course.

If they are not included, this is a stoppage for me and many users i know...

on last builds, some things are disabled, and for that i use older build.
For netcf 3.5, it do not fit on that rom...lol it is full!

Looks good and fast upto now, only thing i have found is the Calendar is in Italian, any chance of changing it to english ?

oh, sorry, Regional Settings are set to Italian (Italy) but you can can go in Settings -> system tab -> regional settings and set it to english. bye

Is it just me or the games folder is empty!
Also skype doesn't work. It shows a dialoguebox saying "it needs an internet connection to function, do you want skype to try to connect to teh internet through a cellular connection?..." but doesn't connect to my GPRS.
ROM looks fresh and it's so far stable. Thanks!
