NEED INFO about WM6 for HTC3300

Hello !
Read all forum around - too much of information & options. What you recomend !? I have right now HTC 3300 WM5 & i want to upgrade to WM6.
I have system information like this Model ARTE100:
ROM Version: 1.12.405.1. WWE
Rom date. 9/12/06
Radio Version: 02.67.90
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.28
Extrom Version: 1.12.405.101
Whis is correct version of WM6 to get work everything & english !!! Also i now that before flash i have to use: USPL !!! Question: after USPL, i make restart & then i make Upgrade ? tnx a lot

First : YES YOU HAVE TO USE USPL !!!!!!!!!!
then you can try my new rom if you want... its the newest wm6 version out there at the moment. And its really fast....

And if you're the type to flash around a Cube (TouchFlo) then you should try Meschle 2.1 - that too is a great ROM...
But USPL is a must before you flash...

hmmm..nice JOB - tnx Looks fine. There is some this wich try to fix: like battery status - how it possible to install this plugin & i have some (BatteryIconsWhite.provxml) <--where to copy or hoe to install What recomend? P.S> after soft restart....have some message that Can't find Network connestion !!! - any idea?

Hei - there is another one problem with SOUND !!! I put phone sound (SYTEM SOUND) to maximum, but RING sound is very low - the rest of sound (alarm, notification etc) - very loud !!! How its possible to fix this problem, because if somebody call my i can't hear phone !!!?? Tnx

Did you succeed to load WM6? I have same kind of HTC, and I am thinking to do the same.

Yes - but dont forget to do - USPL !!! Right now for me work everything fine - second what i'm loking for is good Add-on/Plugin/soft for Battery statuss & Custumized Alarm soft!!!

I have instaled, and I like it very much, the O2 WM6 Premium & PremiumPlus 1.0 WWE, from our moderator meschle you can foud it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=325295.

Do you use GPS with your HTC? I have understood that after wM6 installation there is no Tom tom anymore. From where could I get Tom tom Navigator 6?
Because I have never changed the operator system for HTC, I would like to ask, is it easy and clear to do it?

yes it is relatively easy.
If you search the forums there is a post with a link to the download and it tells you how to install it...then you just need to import your maps and voices

If the change from WM5 to WM6 does not succeed, can I return to WM5 back?

I have tried Start_uspl.exe, but I can see DOS screen less than once second. Nothing happens afterwards.
Do I have to make a hardrest and then bootloader, before I can make uspl?

1) Is GPS as fast as with WM5? Have you tried with WM6?
2) In my PC Start_uspl.exe does not make anything. I can see DOS screen less than one second. Can you help me!

My problem was Firewall. No it is ok.

Tis the season for goodwill to all, so I decided to publish a pre-release taster of the WM5 rom I am working on. It's fast and stable an to be honest I am well impressed with it's robustness.
It's based on the debranded T-Mobile Vanilla I released last month.

What's with all the 4's dude? No it's untested but I recall someong running the base rom like that without problems.

In the build are the relevant drivers for SDHC support, but cannot test because I do not have a SDHC card.

Thank you. The Arabizer I have no idea how to install or what it does as I can't read or write in arabic. Surely this can be installed as normal?

What About Video Call, it is working or not ?

Yes. Video calling is 100% working. It's a Windows Mobile 5 rom.

hi.. First of all thx for your job..
i have one question.. does Video Call button apply on keyboard? because i got your last ROM version and video call was usless

Video call is 100% working. Tested by me about 5 mins ago on my G4 XDA Exec.
To enable VC on the on screen dialler pad then please see 2 posts above.

Use any extended rom (ms_.nbf) and Radio Rom (Radio.nbf) you like. You can even use the existing ones in the phone already.

Sorry, i don´t understand! How can i do that? I´m using WM6. can i use the WM6 files, where do i get them? I have several roms for my Universal, but they are in "exe", and when i try to install them i get the error "Coutry id error" is there any way i can extract the files that i need "ms_.nbf" for the EXT ROM and the radio.nbf and even the Windows file?

i tested the rom but in my openion, i thank that the update 27/1/09 is better than 28/1/09

I am facing some issues with the Notepad, When i try to open txt file, i get a error message " file not found. and when I try to open from the software it does't list the file.
Apart from this above issue, This ROM is really good and works Very fine.

I don't have any problem with this release, just "usual" Internet explorer error when i am connected to the computer. This rom is fast,stable .Another great job!!

5221109 is the most latest WM6.1 rom (as i know) it also gets rid of the slow scrolling with directional keypad... there are a lot of changes in this rom, you can search around for a official M$'s what's new documentation about this version of WM6.1 build...
It is just a matter of time that there was a time when people were dying to flash their PDAL devices with even WM6 but now they have a lot of choices between different OSs with different versions... lol isn't that amazing?

Gr8 dear!!! its working perfectly fine on my new ROM. But one more thing, i m not able to bring wireless options on my home screen. Everytime i need to activate wifi or bluetooth i need to go to connections>wireless manager to enable them. Please advice

Install the attached file and restart your device, Wireless will be on your today screen...

The camera is off by default to enable it, go to Settings \ card and run a red cross or the Camera Driver confirm by pressing yes to run after a reboot everything should be ok now and the icon should change to red to green (such as in the photo attached).

There is not no reason, I forgot to change the registry to turn it on.
