Unlocking a XDA O2 Mini S SIM FREE!

Hello, sorry if the answer is already posted. I just got my new O2 XDA Mini S phone but it is locked for O2. Can anyone help me find an unlocking tool for it. Also, is there a thread that gives the diffrences between the XDA Mini S, Qtek 9100, Imate K-jam, T mobile MDA Vario, Orange SPV M3000, Cingular 8125, HTC Wizard.

which one should i run? there's a zip fold there..and contains many files..should i copy them all to my device? and which one to run as well?thx

The instructions are there. One (xyz.cab) is to be copied and run on your device, and the other (xyz.dat) run from your PC with active sync connnected. Ignore the other files as they would be extracted into a Utilities folder.

thx jfran...i got the file name here which is total different. but i can try by guessing.i got a cab file here.i think this one is for my device.and i got a 3kb which called lokiwiz.i think i should run this on my computer.and i got another folder here as well which contains about 8 files which called utils.

hi guys, just had my phone stolen and had to do a quick replacement.... always been a windows head and didnt have the immidiate money required for a HTC Touch Pro2 so went back to basics by purchasing a XDA Mini S, absolute bargain for £20!

Any way, slight technicality.... the phone is locked to 02 as normal....
came back to the XDA forum hoping i could find the solution.... unlocking it to all networks.... i found the thread but its dated back to 2005!
and the link is dead.... can someone please help me?

Upgrading PDA2K to WM05

I did succesfuly upgrade my PDA2K (Blueangel) from wm03 to Wm05, the question is: in order to get good Arabic support, which rom version should i use knowing that i dont have an ext rom version currently running on my device, add to that real player isnt working properly on my device.
Please advice :roll:

@ bakhour: imaginate arabizer seems to work with Ivan's rom, but from what I read on arabic sites, upgrading + arabizer some times causes stabuility problems, I prefer not to upgrade.

Dears, I downloaded the WM5 for my PDA2K from the subject of Lt.Cmdr.Ivan (thanks to him) and it is working just fine in English (I hanven't tried all functions yet).
I tried all difrent versions of Arabic even the one that comes with the ETen, please see the attached files I found suitable (even the Arabic Keyboard looks great).
Please try WM5_PDA2K_Arabic1.ZIP first, if it does not work then try
Please try WM5_PDA2K_Arabic2.ZIP

Dears, after more testing, I found this with PDA2K:
(Logout_WM2K5_5.4.03_HN) is VERY fast and reliable.
(Helmi_WM2k5_AKU3.2_32mb_v1.3.1) is fast, reliable, and looks great.
For Arabic use:
IMAGINET Arabizer Suite2 B342
The PDA2K should work just fine, but the Activesync still got some issues, thanks to My friend Life Dream from ce4arab.

well actually the O2 roms works on imate aswell...but il gve you the right post for o2 carrier...

I just bought a new JASJAR and would like to upgrade to WM6, plz suggest me best ROM upgrade, let me tell you that the reason i bought jasjar is bcoz i had a k-jam and i tried some ROM upgrades on it.. and screwed it totally.. so this time i need something best & reliable for my jasjar.. can somebody help me

Check out this link..its Wm6.0 released by Ivan and i have been using it for almost a month now and so far dont have problems with it except that it doesnt have the video call function and so do all of them...most of all the memory leak bug has been fixed in it and Free memory stays around 24mb which is good enough for me.

You have to read and understand English. This should be enough to upgrade even to WM6.1. Start using Wiki.
PS: downloading files without understanding what are they for is the best way not to do anything or to destroy your device.

SOS JAMA 101 cause imate corporation dead

Dear developers, i ask your help to solve my personal problem:
i have a jama 101 device, i don't know how previous rom wm6ITA is disappeared from my Jama 101!
i looked for a solution
1) I have installed JAMA_8050_WWE_RUS_WM6 --- but bluetooth e callphone don't work
2) I have installed P6_RUS_7305 --- but callphone doesn't work and the language is russian-cyrillic
How can i do?
I want my device functions again....HELP MEEEEE!
My brother has the same device (jama101), how can I extract from his device wm6 rom and install it in my jama 101?
I am interested only in bluetoothand calling (phone)

I forgot to say that IMATE CORPORATION is DEAD, so i can't use warranty on my device ( acquired only one years ago!)
