I am using 2 Bluetooth Stereo Headsets:
- HAMA Headset
- Jabra BT 620s.
Everything is working fine - stereo sound - alle functions on the headset buttons - although with different ROMs.
But there is always one small problem - when i have closed the BT conncetion and i try to reconnect automaticly the sound is on the speaker of the pda and not on my headset. Only when i manually reconnect the stereo headset, i get the sound over the headset.
Is there anywhone who solves this problem?

I have been searching for a headset with the following specifications, so far to no avail:
Must Have: Bluetooth 2.0, Multipoint (has to support at least two devices with Bluetooth Headset profile unlike the SonyEricsson HBH-DS970 -- see note below) so that I can pair the headset simultaneously with my Hermes and my laptop and switch back and forth between mobile telephony on the Hermes and Skype or another VoIP app on my PC without having to disconnect the headset and pair it again each time.
Nice to have: Stereo with A2DP, Desktop charging cradle, built-in (digital?) FM radio
I tried the SonyEricsson HBH-DS970 which is billed as a multipoint Bluetooth 2.0 stereo headset, but while it is advertised as supporting pairing with up to 10 devices it will only allow pairing with one device in the Bluetooth Headset profile that supports phone functions with the microphone enabled. All of the other pairings can only be Audio Sink profiles for listening to music. I love the design of the headset with the neckstrap and the earbuds, but since for me listening to music comes second to being able to switch between the Hermes and the PC, I have returned the SE HBH-DS970 in the hope that something else will appear on the market soon. In any case the Hermes stereo Bluetooth still has some kinks in it (eg skips every 40-50 seconds), so I decided that it would not be worth getting a Bluetooth stereo headset until the next maintenance ROM for the Hermes fixed them.
Does anyone think that something like this will become available anytime soon or is there unlikely to be enough demand?
I have the HTC bluetooth stereo (A2DP - hands free and wireless stereo) headset and I use tomtom.
Whenever the headset is paired with the device, i.e. all the time i am driving the Tomtom audible directions come through the headset. Is there any way to make them come through the artemis speaker and just any calls come through the headset?
can't you 'disconnect' the headset by holding the dial button for 2 sec
nope. tried this but nothing happens.
Hi, I have a Dainese helmet that is equiped with bluetooth :
http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2008/01/dainese-dnect-infinity-a-desir.html
It supports headset profile (HSP) and handsfree Profile (HFP).
When somebody is calling, the pda sends the aufio to the headset (helm), the problem is, all other audio is comming trough the pda speaker. How can I send the other audio to the headset ? The most important is Tomtom, I want to hear the instructions trough the headset.
WHen the helm is connected, I can rightclick to it, and set it as handsfree, but set as wireless stereo is grayed out.
Thanks for any hints ...
I am sure this is not specific to the SGS3, but I swear this used to work with my S2.
My 2006 VW doesn't have an AUX input so I use one of the FM Transcievers. It works well.
But...I also use a bluetooth headset while driving.
What I want to happen is to be able to answer calls with my bluetooth headset. Right now while the FM thing is plugged into the headphone jack, the callers voice is sent over the headphone jack and on the stereo. It is as if my bluetooth headset is disabled while the headphone jack is used.
Is there any way to use the headphones to listen to music, but use the bluetooth headset for calls?
BTW, I am using PowerAmp.
Have you tried changing the order in which you connect the 2 devices. Try making sure you connect the transmitter before connecting the bluetooth headset. You may also need to edit the properties of the bluetooth headset and disable a2dp to prevent music from going to the headset. If all else fails, there should be a button during a call that you can use to switch between bluetooth, speakerphone, handset. Not ideal while driving, though.
One thing Android needs is a proper mixer control panel...

Actually the Headset button is lit up on the in call screen, as if the bluetooth headset is connected for the call. Unfortunately it is still routing through the headset/handset mic.
Is there a way to get all audio to be played through bluetooth when a bluetooth headset is connected?
Right now when I use a bluetooth headset and if I get a text or any sort of notification sound, the sound okays through the phone speakers and through the bluetooth headset.
If I'm not mistaken the bt headset still has to be a2dp.
The headset I use supports and. Audio from music and videos play only through the bluetooth headset but when I get notifications or the phone ringtone plays through both the phone speaker and the Bluetooth headset. Ive tried a few bluetooth headsets and they all do this... Is there a fix?
