problem upgrading radio

please help me!!!
i have a v1640 vodafone machine.
i have downloaded the 1.09 radio version of universal sited at xda-developers ftp.
i have tried to install. at the process, a error (the country id is not correct) was showed.
next, the pda not works. i have tried to make a hardreset, but the terminal don't start's...
please, help me!!!

the main problem is :
the startup not work's and the activesync soft not detect's the pda.
help me , please !!

Just check the Wikipedia and follow exactly the instructions.

affortunatly i have readed other post.
i have started in bootloader mode and i have updated the rom to a qtek rom (1.13.74 esn).
later, i have updated the radio without problems.
now, i have the 1.13.74 esn rom , the 1.13.175 esn extrom and 1.09.00 radio software.

in my opinion, the problem was the next: the first attempt i have installed the new radio version with the pda in normal mode...
the next attempt i don't have problems and the pda was started in bootloader mode.

Please help dowloading the special rom to my siemens sx56...

Please help::I have been trying now for a week and i can't download the special rom to my siemens sx56, what i have its only the siemens sx56 and usb with all the programs that i need, but im stuck i tried doing this ;

Plese, give more information about you device and the problem like:
OS now in use (original 2003SE or WM5),
Error messages,
recent modifications done in device,
another ploblems experienced (even if not aparently related), etc

i have wm5 on my device
this error message appear when connect mu pda2k to the base
synchronziation cannot completed successfully. reconnect your device and try again .if the problem presists, see the MicroSoft Active sync troubleshooter in microsoft active sync help on ur desktop computer

Help needed : Have probs with my BA wifi

i just bought used BA,where at first the wifi connection is working.the problem was only when i used it online after half an hour an above, it will restart and soft
reset by itself.
And after several time it behaves like that,now it cannot connect to the internet.The device can find the connection,but when i tried to connect, the tower icon do not show connected signal, but on "wireless Lan manager", it shows the device are connected.The device still cant connect to internet.And it doesnt change even after i formatted it.
my BA :
WM2003 SE
ver. 4.21.1088 (build 15045.2.60)
ROM ver. 1.40.00 WWE
Radio ver. 1.12.00
Protocol ver. 1337.42
ExtROM ver. 1.40.923 WWE

IPL-0.50
Trin100 MFG
SPL-1.30lipro
Currently using WM5 Dopod Chi rom
When I want to upgrade to WM6 CHi rom, it freezes at 27% and report error 262.
Please advise what I should do to solve it. Thanks much!!!

Hello,use for upgrade memory card,it's ok.

is it official ROM for your carrier?
if it is, can try without manually entering bootloader..

Yes it is official but i cannot make it by just clicking the exe file...
Both wm5 and wm6 are official dopod...

Problem solved. I have spent two days on it and I would like to share my ultimate method...

I need to use SSPL-Trin to lead the device into bootloader mode
Then use SD card method to update
Hope it is referential to future user.
