quick dialer from cube as a .cab?

anyone know of a cab file for the quick dial contacts screen/page of the cube. it's all use the cube for, so i'd like to just have my other favorites (main ones being on home) mapped to a button. just press and it's there, without the cube animation etc.

or failing that, which files to extract from windows etc before copying to new 'cubeless' rom, if that's possible.

I have the same question (1.5 years later). Is there a standalone version of the QuickDial application from the HTC Cube (without TouchFlo and without the Cube)? I would like to call it from a shortcut on the today screen so that I can dial favorite contacts safely while driving. (A VGA version would be even better.)

BTW: I know that TF3D has a similar contacts dialer, but I have TF3D disabled because...
1) I can't customize the TF3D home screen to suite my needs
2) The device lock doesn't work in TF3D with device pin protection enabled, but the regular WM6.1 "Today Screen" device lock does work.
If someone knows how to bring-up the TF3D contacts screen with TF3D disabled, then that would work for me.

I'm looking for a place where to get the latest CAB files for my TYTN. Loking for the latest HTC Home cab and others with an explanation of which each does.
I'm also looking for an option changes the left hand Calendar button to an Action button much like in K's WM6 rom. Not sure if there is a cab to do this or not. Really handy for quick access to new SMS, email etc

voip status on a TF3D TAB

is it possible to put the voip status on a TF3D TAB?
its because i'm now in vacations and i had to desactivate da tf3d to see if i have voip...

anybody has the answer?

To answer your question, this should be possible, but nobody implemented anything like that yet.
You can use secondtoday (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401907) to switch between today and manila without closing TF3D.

Is 6.5 worth the Hard Reset?

Hi:
I have finally configured my TP2 on WinMo 6.1 with everything that makes me happy (MTP which allows the old style Today Screen on a TF3D Tab, SPB Pocket Plus and SPB Diary abd STQ stock ticker on that tab, among other things).
Is it worthwhile for me to install 6.5 and erase everything? Will I be gaining performance, or any other plusses?

yes. WM6.5 is nice. WM6.5.1 is even better.
The official roms will be plain WM6.5 with the start icon at the top. WM6.5.1 uses the new interface and is a joy.
WM6.5 is a good mix between WM6.1 and WM6.5.1. I like the latest though. I have pictures of my Fuze rom in my pics which depicts the new style.

I've flashed the official German Vario V 6.5 upgrade and am happy with it - the Rhodium was barely usable before as it kept choking on lots of apps. Now it appears stable (keep fingers crossed) apart from HomeScreen ++ which prevented in- and outgoing calls.

Does it show tasks on the Home screen? Soes it have a today screen that I could show SPB Diary or SPB Pocket Plus?

I may not have found out the full potential, but it's just showing the next 5 appointments using the dumbed-down HTC-Calendar that is also used on the calendar tab. If you tap one of the appointments, it takes you to WM's appointment view where you can edit etc. it - but you can't move "back" to the full WM calendar.
In my opinion you'll have to use MTP again.

s2u2 problem with wm6.5

hello.
i have the htc hd2.
i've installed bsb tweaks and CHTeditor.
today i've activated s2u2.
i like it. it's iphonelike and comfotarble, but...
when i get a call, the wm6.5 slide to answer and small picture are still active, and i can see the answer key of the s2u2, underneath.
i have 2 questions:
1. am i missing something? how do i cancel the wm6.5 look and keep only s2u2
2. do i need the bsb and CHT or is s2u2 has all of their options?
i have to say that at some point when i played a bit with CHT suddenly i couldn't get the old slider lockscreen and had to install another one...
shoul i uninstall CHT? i realy like s2u2...
