I am in trouble now. After playing some xyz, my device gone. it can only jump into the bootloader now..
Before my playing, i backuped the original os.nb by using awizard.
My question is:
1) can I download the orignal os.nb into the device and make it alive? My device is CID locked
2) I search for the web for the long time and now RUU packet available. I need a Dopod C800 Hong Kong Chinese Traditional. Is anyone available?
U can't flash OS.nb in bootloader
Get a rom from dopod asia website and flash it.

Ive recently bought a silver Dopod 818 Pro (HTC Prophet) which has the
chinese rom.
I got somebody to flash it to the WWE (english) version and now i need to flash it back to chinese.
Now im wondering if i could just use my CD that came with my dopod and run the setup on it and would it flash it back to the chinese version?
Or do i have to download the chinese Rom and flash it with aWizard?
So anyone can give me a simple answer or do i have to beat some1 for it :lol:
and yes im quite new to this and learning slowly...

The CD that comes with it does not have the ROM , you need to use Awizard to flash it.

Yup, I get same problem, I got the rom, but can't find where can download aWizard tool for update the new rom.

what i want is to make a RUU package with only the OS.nb in there.
i have now the artemis B&B rom 3.5 on it but i what this in DUTCH
i saw a couple of threads ago a DUTCH os.nb file.
so what i have is the B&B ruu rom and a Dutch os.nb file
Question :
how can i do that with the "Dutty good NBH/NB" tool.
or better...can i make a new RUU rom with ONLY the os.nb in it ?
no external rom stuff.
Can anybody give me some info...i do not want to brick my phone
by the way ...my phone is completely CID and SID unlocked.

Hi all, I have dopod C720W (unlocked) no carrier. How to check whether my phone is CID locked or no? I really want to upgrade my phone to WM6, is there any available ROM for C720W? thx

I installed Rogers certificate and started the Rogers WM6 ROM but the installation failed at 3% - my device is not supported but I have a Dopod C720W
Any idea?
The HTC website also provides a ROM which I can not download as my device is recognices as Dopod instead of HTC S620. I´m waiting for an answer of the HTC support team to get this fixed...

I'm new to the xda-developers forum.
I've carefully read all informations available on the wiki and in various threads of the forum, and I have to say that I'm a little confused with upgrading / downgrading stuff.
First of all, I have a SPV M3100 bought in France, Simlocked to Orange France (HERM100, IPL 1.01, SPL 1.11).
I would like to test the official HTC WM6 ROM, but I'm not sure on how I should process.
First, as far as I have understood, it is a good idea to install HardSPL v7, which allows me to flash the HTC Rom on my Orange France CID-locked device. Am I right ?
Second step, I have downloaded the HTC_TyTN_FRA_3.54.256.2_103_6275_1.47.00.10_108.exe file from the following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320829
From here I'm not sure on how to proceed.
Knowing that I would like to be able to rollback to the official WM5 rom shipped by Orange France (which I have already downloaded from the wiki), what should I do:
- either flash the WM6 rom directly. I'm afraid of "overwriting" the hardspl v7 stuff in the device ?
- or extracting the content of the WM6 rom and doing all the stuff described in http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_UpgradeGuide to remove the bootloader from the ROM ?
I have read some posts about custom RUU too... What does this means ? Am I concerned ?
