Hi,
Hi have a new Optimus HTC P3300 (portugal) that give me an error when i try to create a new appointment. It says something about the summer hour. I can't sync also with pushmail. I already checked the date and everything is ok. When sync with PC it changes the time to an old date (24 April 2007) and can't sync appointments. Can anyone help me about that?
Thanks

Can anyone help? I have recently brought a 02 Xdaiis and I have just set up Windows activesync 3.8.
On syncing the calender with the XDA, it appears that the appoimtents are always an hour behind. Ie, say I insert an appointment for 9.00 am, on sync with the XDA, the calender says it starts at 10.00 am. Both base station and machines are set to the right time-GMT
This is very annoying!!!
Are you sure that you don't have your xda clock set to hour difference.
It would read the correct time on the xda screen, but would sync your appointments one hour different to match the gmt time on your desktop machine.
Cheers for the reply. It appears to have sorted itself out now,--- not before moving all appointments on my PC 1 hour back though! strange!!
Hi there,
I have a htc artemis where i'm not able to create new appointments. It returns a message "It's not possible to save. Select a valid time because the summer time" I have checked the date and time and everything looks ok. Another curious thing is each time i connect the ppc to pc to sync, the time on th ppc is changed to an old date and i'm not able to sync.
Someone with the same problem? Please help

It will probably be easier to do this in outlook from your pc and then sync then to do it from the device itself depending on the number of entries.
From the device
you would edit each entry
and chance the "Occurs" line
from "Once" to " every September 2" using today as the example.
that way it does the reminder every year on that date and time that you've set
then set the time to remind maybe a few days to a week ahead to give you time to get them a present hehehe
It again maybe easier to do this from outlook on the pc and then,
re-sync the phone to update the changes to it.
Got a big problem with ActiveSync on the Desire.
Mail and Contacts sync just fine, but it gets to Calendar, tries a dew times then says "Synchronization is experiencing problems".
(Actually this time it;s just trying again and again and not stopping for some reason!)
I noticed a few comments about this in another thread about a cooked rom, but no solutions.
Anyone got a solution?
If not, how do I go about troubleshooting/looking at logs? I'm a WM man and this is my 1st Android baby.
Cheers!
Not much help other that to say my calendar is syncing fine to Exchange.
HTC Sync 2.0.33
HTC released a new version of HTC Sync version 2.0.33, give it a try and see if it solves your problem.

Cheers guys,
The problem was actually with the mailbox. Well, kind of, cos my WM6.5 machine synced fine with all the calendar items, but HTC Sync apparently has a problem with recurring item (according to very helpful supporty), so I cleared out loads of old calendar items and it was happy.
Will try the new version...
When I receive a meeting request through my HTC mail exchange sync account I can't see the date and time of the appointment. The phone gives me the ability to accept/deny or to reschedule (propose new time).
the time of the appointment can only be seen in the "propose new time" which is, basically, not user friendly.
Anyone else having this issue?
Just got my Desire. Been using WinMo for the last 3 years so I might be missing a obvious solution...
