Screen Bug

The thing is that when i turn off the screen from the button on the right side of the phone the screen goes off... the bug is that if i press anyother button while the screen is off the phone screen turns on... this is a BIG BUG i would say.. so can someone with experience programming help on this issue... i have a very fast rom with the new CE including touchflo... this rom is faster than the B&B4... havent installed the other rom here with touchflo...

Which one have you installed then? Is it your own cooked one?
It sounds like you've set "do not lock" in system/key lock.

Probably that you have modified the "key lock" setting.
Try:
Settings---system---key lock---"lock all buttons except power button"

Thanks for the tip on the short tones. I was wondering why it didn't work.
Note, you have to press the button for about half a second to get the vibration thingy to work.
If anyone knows how to increase the speed, I would appreciate it.

any news on this?? most of the time when I press the soft buttons I don't do it for half a second. it really needs to be faster than this to be functional.

HTC AudioManager & Screen off

Hi there,
I have the brilliant Dutch ADW 1.1 ROM. Since yesterday however the HTC AudioManager stops playing when I press the off button, while before it didn't.
Does anyone know how to keep it playing again when the device is "off"?

PS. A program that keep all buttons but power and the screen locked, even when a call comes in also would to the trick.

On my P3600 + Faman WM6 french ROM, I manage to do it the following way :
1 - allow the WM6 screen lock option to appear into the Today screen (trying to translate from French : open the parameters panel in the start menu, select Today/Elements, select "Screen lock" and press "OK" ;
2 - go back to the Today screen and lock the screen ;
3 - now, pressing the on/off button will switch the screen backlight off without stopping the HTC manager.

I use S2U2 and FTouchFlo, so that when I slide my finger right to left, it activates S2U2. Pretty nifty
Doesn't use that much extra battery either.

@deago, I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work. Music still stops when I press the off button, but thanks though
I'll try S2u2 tonight, but I think it is basically the same as slide2unlock, and that works, but not realy how I would like.
And... it workt before, so what's changed?? :S

I use AudioManager with the HTC Home Plugin thing and music keeps playing when I hit the off button. I'm using udk 6.1 rom

I was having the same problem on my P3600, with Axel's wm6 rom. Deago's fix didnt work for me, the only thing i've found so far is that if u install SPB Pocket Plus, u can get a little icon on your Today Screen that's called "Screen Toggle" and when u press it it turns the screen off and locks the keys and everything but the music continues to play in the background.

Volume Slider

Hi all,
when you press the vol up/down key on the side it will pops out another full page of adjusting volume.
after i upgrade the the latest rom, it change to a pop up on the top only with 2 slider, on, vibrate and off.
I like that very much, but don't know what i had done, its gone and back to the ugly full page volume adjust.
can anyone help me to restore dual slider pops up thankx

you probably touched the volume buttons before TF3d loaded. i think the "small" volume popup is wm 6.1 default.

Try disabling TF3D and check out.

but is there anyway i can use that instead??

Xperia Pin code keyboard hide after phone call

Hi, i use Exchange mail and it's lock phone after 15min, if i answer phone and when call is end the pin keyboard is gone, only screen upper left is "Password" but i cant type password because i dont have pin keyboard!!
All what i can do is take battery off, now i use original ROM, any help please?

On my phone the new R3 panel manager caused the same problem, so if you have that installed just go back to the old one.
Also if you press the right hardware key you get a menu where you can press cancel and the keyboard appears.

Really? OK, i try this, thanks - maybe 6.5 has solve this problem ...

No, hardware key is not working, what rom you have?
