Hi all
Have now virtually achievd my perfect TODAY screen, but for ONE problem. It is just SLIGHTLY too large, thus bringing up a scroll bar on the right hand side- with around 1mm of scroll!!
I have done all I can to shrink and move things, and I believe I now have 2 options left- neither of which I know how to do......
1) Slightly reduce font size on owner information (which I want to keep), AND?OR get the phone no. oto the same line as my name.
2) I wish to keep the screen lock option that appears on today by default (the padlock that stops any screen activations in your pocket). Am wondering if I can add this to one of my SPB PocketPlus tabs as a shortcut- but have no idea where the .exe file is to point to.

Don't laugh- but I love the colouration of the guava theme with the black of the orbit! - just don't like black with black
You can just.... see the tip of the "device unlock" padlock at the bottom of the screen. All is adjusted to optimum (as far as I can tell)- apart from the 2 points I mentioned at the start of the thread- owner info, and device lock shortcut.

cant you make the size of pocketbreeze plugin a little smaller?
Or just reduce the size of SPB Diary... in worst case there appears a scroll bar in the Diary window...
SPB diary, and pocket plus have been made as small as possible. The scroll bar to the right is what I am trying to get rid of, ans the today screen extends down too far.
zsitvayb- thanks mate- that zip file has allowed me to shortcut the device lock onto the spb tabs. This has reduced the info at the bottom, and lost me the scroll bar. Can now see 5 days of wether- not 4!!
Would still be interested though in any way of tinkering with the owner info appearance on the today screen....
Remove your soft keys
I use wisbar advanced3, it has the option of removing the soft keys from the today screen, then using AEButton plus I made the soft key buttons have the same function as they originally did, soft key/1 press, contacts/long press, and I have lost no functionallity at all with a bit more real estate. Hope that makes sense. Also the features of WA3 are great and your today screen would look even better with some nice WA3 icons on the taskbar. If only it was free.

Understand what you are saying- interesting idea. Does the wisbar affect speed at all??

That's not quite true. Remove one of the tabs (in Diary settings). After that you can decrease the height by another 20 picsels or so.
But this would then lose the fuctionality that I built up???

If you are using SPB 2.5.5 you can make the tabs horizontal and then add a custom tab and inside the custom TAB move the weather or any other today plugin...!
Like what I have done on my screen...

Have you tried using slide to unlock.
I find this great and you wouldnt need the lock icon on the screen.

As far as I can tell WA3 does not slow down my artemis. The skin I use is called "reflections" it can be found on lakeridge's forum. Nice new wait cursor, lovely cascading menus, float window. I like it.

I just got my Diamond yesterday and am coming from the T-Mobile Shadow. Is there some way to enable the touch-sensitive circle on the d-pad to act as a jogwheel like the one on the tmobile shadow? I'm used to navigating through menus like that. I noticed that you could use it that way for the zoom for the camera app. Is there a way to extend this to all applications?

Find below some screenshots of my Touch HD to give you an idea of what i'm looking for.
I've looked all round the forum but cant seem to find what i'm after.
Well on the 1st shot, I got the black phone pad which I love but if you look on the bottom left hand corner (highlighted)... I have "Call Hi..." Over lapping the video call option and everytime I press this button it always goes into the call history! This was also happening when I had the normal factory phone pad! Is there a fix for this out there somewhere?
Secondly, if you look at the 2nd screenshot. You see the normal T9 phone keypad... i'm wanting this in the same black format as the phone pad in screenshot 1 etc... is there a cab out there to change this also?!
And finally, in screen shot 3 & 4 you'll see the clock that I have... im looking to have this changed so that it looks like the clock in screenshot 4 (but obviously bigger but still shows the date and if there is an alarm set up... does anyone know of a way to change this or of a cab to do this for me? (I have added a 5th screenshot to show wat im after for the clock... it was done in paint.. and yes I know... it was a poor attempt... but at least you get the idea )

If someone has enough free time I would love to see the windows lock buttons when entering pass to unlock to be colored black for example. I hate those white buttons.

Anyone? Someone must have parts for this request. Personally i'm looking for a cab file of the keypad as shown in screenshot... help out guys! You know you want to!
ok .. i have an ideea for a new UI for the blackstone ..
those anyone know of an existing skin or UI that allows you to put yous icons on the today screen and move them arownd from page to page like the iphone .. basically an interface on the today screen betwen the upper start bar and the lower one on witch apper only the icons(backround remains the same) and the icons can be sorted on diferent pages witch you can freely move through like the iphone ..
it wold be cool if someone could make this .. ore just strip down the winterface UI..give it a backround and make`it fit between the lower and upper bars ..
please excuse my bad english .. hope you understood what i want

have you considered using Wisbar Advanced Desktop 2 (WAD2) or Mobile Shell 3 (MS3)? they both allow you to rearrange icons and the like. WAD2 is much more flexible, but it does require more work...but it's relatively easy to pick up.

The iphone look-a-like apps went out of fashion yrs ago you like this plain boring screen with icons?
Oh and there's at least 4 apps that do this already, did ever consider a quick search of the entire forum or the internet?

the ideea is to have the icons on the today screen(just the background area) and insted of having diferent tabs like the spb 1 (i don`t know witch version) to have them placed on diferent screens and to swipe your finger to move to through the screens with the animation that the iphone has (that will be the only thing that resembles the iphone .. i don`t want a UI that takes all the screen ).. the Wisbar Advanced Desktop 2 seems to do something and i kind of love the ideea even if it`s not what i want .. but it`s too laggy and the lower "start bar" or what ever it`s called is changed as well ..
i searched day and knight and found nothing like this .. that`s why i started this new thread and gave`it this title .. to atract the developers .. maybe .. just maybe someone will love the ideea and start developing ..
P.S. ... i will consider giving giving a generous donation to the guy who will make this possible ..

I would like to learn how to customize the lock-screen for the HD2 I am looking for a tutorial but have not found much.
I don't really want to mess with the rest of the phone just the lock screen for now.
s2u2 is okaaay and the CHT 1.7.1 lockscreens whilst looking nice behave like crap on my phone getting stuck all the time and even though it's disabled the HTC lock cames back every now and then, it's a lot of butthurt and I'd like to have a play.
So yeah, is there a tutorial for working on just the lock-screen of the default manila 2.5 lock screen?

In fact the most customizable you will find, but yes not free.

a user named pckshd (=pocketshield) will of course advice pocketshield ...
but dont think that pocketshield is crap, its very good with many options...
if youre lookin for a free alternative, take a look at the lockscreens in cookies home tab editor, there you can for example set the HD mini Lockscreen =)
