synce sent items in outlook - P3300, MDA Compact III General

Does anyone know if you can do this?
I've tried but I either get nothing in the sent items on my orbit, or I get an error on syncing (8503001c)
any ideas?
ok, update...since trying that I now cannot sync anything if I have email selected to sync..
HELP!!!

ok..found the problem, but can't seem to find a way to fix it.
originally I ticked the sent items box in the email settings, hoping that I could sync my sent items (surely that's what the tick box is for).
now I can't untick it!!
if I untick this box, click ok, then go into settings again..it's ticked!!...so I untick it..click ok..go back into settings...it's ticked!!...so I go into settings...you get the idea.
so, now that this box remains ticked permanently, I can't sync at all..it just fails everytime.
anyone got a clue how to fix this?..and I've already tried re-installing active sync...and deleting the pairing..same thing happens everytime.

nobody got any ideas on this one?
I'm getting desperate as I can't sync any of my emails to my device.

Dash doesnt download mails greater than 3 days

Inbox on my dash that is connected to our MS Outlook email server does not download mails which are greater than 3 days. Also, in sent items, it never shows any message though messages are sent successfully. Does anyone have any idea how I can solve this? Thanks in advance!

Select your e-mail account (so you are looking at your e-mail list).
Push menu/tools/options/account settings then push "next" 5 times
Screen will have "download messages", select that then select your options.
As far as the sent e-mails there's a selection box but mine doesn't show sent items either. To try it out:
Follow steps 1 & 2 above only select "sending" instead of account settings.
Make sure "save copies of sent items" is checked.
Hope that shines some light on the issue.

Thanks, I was able to reach page where I can change settings to download all emails (or the way I want). Still it doesn't show items in sent item folder even though save message setting is on. I will search more in forums how it can be resolved, still if someone has any idea, please advise.

Help: Error While Checking Email

Hey, im not sure if anybody else has this problem or not, but here goes.
I'm trying to use my Yahoo! mail account from my phone.
THis morning i checked my email and got nearly 20 messages, perfectly fine.
Now im trying to reconnect (Menu > 8. Send/Recieve) to download an attachment, and i get an Error
"Your Internet connection is not configured properly. Please verify your settings in Connections."
Any idea how to fix this?
oh, i almost forgot, im using the T-Mo Web 5.99 tweak.

I'm surprised it worked at all on that plan. But if you want to give it a shot try making sure that the mailbox is still set to use the right access point. Are you able to browse sites without issue?

Exchange push disabled in native email app

For whatever reason, it seems that the push option for all of my Exchange accounts has been disabled by the native email app. I have multiple accounts setup for Exchange including both Outlook.com as well as a hosted Exchange account and for each of them, the "sync" schedule option has been greyed out and set to manual with no way to change it that I can see. Calendar events are also greyed out and set to 2 weeks. I have tried removing the accounts and re-adding them but still get the same result. This was definitely not the case when I initially setup the accounts months ago. As far as I can tell, this happened sometime within the past 24-48 hours and I have not installed any new apps since then. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Pull down your notification bar, and make sure you have sync properly pressed.
If you turned off sync in settings, it'll switch everything to manual and gray out the option.
To access this from the settings menu, go to settings --> Accounts and Sync, and verify that its on in the upper right hand corner.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, the sync setting was turned on as it should be so push is still disabled for whatever reason. I gave up and just hard reset the phone. I thought I would be all set with my Titanium Backup from a week ago but after attempting a full restore, only about 75% of my settings (and none of my accounts) were restored. Should have known better, unlocked, and performed a nandroid months ago. Oh well. Everything seems fine now after the hard reset, just a pain to install everything again and redo all my settings.

never mind then:/ when i was on imperium at first my calender didnt sync so i had to do a factory reset to fix it.
I went on vacation the other day and at some point during my time away, my push broke too. I know I found the "Sync Schedule" thing option greyed out as well, but for the life of me, I can't locate it now.
Let me know if this works for you:
Go into the Email app
Properties Button (to get context menu up)
Account Settings
Update Schedule
..then check under SET FREQUENCY (In Peak Times/In Off-Peak Times)

[Q] email attatchment issue

i just got my note 2 yesterday and use it for work. i love it so far but anytime i get a email in my work account with a attatchment, the attatchment shows as winmail.dat. i never had this issue with my gnex. any idea what is causing this?
This is due to an Outlook option.
You can read it with Winmail.dat Reader software on PC.
Your contact sent you a message with RTF Microsoft Exchange format and he doesn't have any program to read that format.
He has to go to settings > message format > select HTML or Text.

the strange thing is i have gotten emails from people that i used to get them all the time from and it still doesnt work. i even sent myself a email from my laptop and it did the same. just double checked and my laptop settings are to plain text.

Anyone else?

Gmail syncing problem.

Recently I have been having problems with my m9 syncing email through both the gmail app and the stock email app too. Both need me to go on to get my emails. I have tried numerous factory reset and they sync fine at first but after a day or so, go back to my original problem. Does anyone else have this or have any suggestions to fix? Thanks in advance.
Most likely a background wifi issue or you have some silly app killer running.

I have actually narrowed it down to only happening when Wi-Fi is connected. Does anyone have any fix or anything?
Apparently there is a work around or a 72hr cooling off period. Try waiting the 72 hours and if it wont let you login you'll have to try the workaround.
The problem is the gmail account wasnt removed before you reset it. Its a security feature introduced in 5.0.
The solution is you must gain access to the settings menu and reset the phone from the settings>backup and reset menu.

I don't know about you, but since I updated to Nougat, i'm having the same issue. Basically my contact, and calendar will not sync unless i turn off Power Saving.
and that annoying issue with the sound on priority mode..
any fixes would be greatly appreciated.
