HTC S620 xT9 & number input - HTC Excalibur

1) Does the HTC S620 have xT9 text input? If not can it be installed somehow?
2) The dash allows numbers to be entered by holding down the number keys. The S620 does not appear to do this. Can it be enabled?

1) It doesn't, but there was a cab file on here before. You'll have to search to see if it's still available.
2) No, it's rom based which means you'll need the T-mobile rom.

Does the 620 have any T9 at all?

Nope, it's a QWERTY and most Dash users hate xT9 anyways.

Keyboard SIP undocked and cant get it docked

Hi All,
Does anyone know how to dock the SIP? After installing WMXL keyboard fix.cab on my Dopod 838Pro, the SIP was undocked and it does not show the full keyboard and all other SIP. I know easytweak2 can disable it with a feature call "drag input" but it no longer works with WM06. Anyone has a reghack code to fix this?
i think sktools do the same tweak try it.

Good Voicedialer for P3300

Hello all,
I recently upgraded my T-Mobile MDA C3 to WM6 with succes. The only downside to this new WM6 is that I haven't got the original voice dial software that comes with the T-Mobile version. I am now looking for a simple, lightweight voice dial application, where I can record my own voice per contact.
Does anyone know of an application that manages to do this well?
Thanks in advance!
Mee to
.. I agree.. i could also use this
take the voice control of the Eten X500 ROM, You do not need to save your voice for each record, because this software does it without this.
... thanx - but...
Hmm.. yes but thats part of the problem. Because that sounds like the Voice Commander in WM6 - And i don´t find it eays og god.. I actually would like to be abel to just record the voice info i need for each number, just like in my old WM5
Besides i must admit i´m not smart enough to extract it from the ROM, I newer tryid that
I have used a few programs that automatically change my contacts into speech so that I dont have to record my own voice. Im not very font of this method, because it requires english pronaunciation of my contacts' names. As I am from Holland, this just doenst go over so well. Thus I want to record my own voices.
I just want to use it for voice dialing: I'm not interested in starting programs with my voice. Most programs that do this run to slow to quickly dial a contact because they are hogged with features.
Is it possible to extract to voice dial software from the original T-Mobile WM5 rom? Because this software does exactly what I want it to do!

Problem with SMS, WM6 and FDN-service (fixed dialing numbers?)

Hi!
I wonder, if anybody knows this strange behavior:
It is possible to restrict dialing to a set of numbers, you define. (Somewhere in Settings->phone->others)
You enter the PIN2, the numbers, you wish to be reachable, ready.
On a WM5 device, this works fine. Only calls and SMS to the defined numbers are possible.
Not so on WM6: Calling a definde number works - but NOT sending an SMS...
Does somebody know anything about this?
Device: HTC p3300
ROM: As delivered from HTC
greets
Bernhard
The answer of HTC Europe is: WM6 handles this feature to restrict the possibilities different than WM5.
So this is called "feature" not "bug".
Perhaps there is an answer in the registry....

calling all rhodium/touch pro 2 owners....

Hi all....
I am planning to purchase a touch pro 2 in the next couple of days... however there is something I need to find out... does the device come with a on screen 'normal' phone keypad[1-9] which allows you to input T9(XT9) sms like what they have on the touch diamond 2/touch HD?.... I have checked a couple of reviews and the answer that I got was sadly to say yes and no...
can anyone please help with this...
thanks for eveyone's help....
yes there is phone keypad option. default is qwerty keyboard but you can change to phone keypad.
The phone interface doesn't have a T9 like phone keypad.
But, as powersquad says, the messaging interface does.
And you can turn T9 on and off.
Notice you'll change the default: When you change the keyboard to the phone keypad, it will also be the default for email, Word, etc.
But then you'll use the hardware keyboard, don't you
And if it isn't standard you can download a million different types of keyboards ...

Keyboard Issue

Has anyone seen this on any version of the TP2?
User reports that when he selects the Full QWERTY keyboard it just shows the number keypad with the P and W buttons. This is the keypad that shows when entering a phone number in the HTC Contacts app.
I have seen this on a stock HTC TP2 and on an AT&T Tilt 2. The only fix so far is hard reset which is not too desireable.
I have the same problem. Any solution found yet?
