forgive my english..I live in turkey and have got asus p525..my rom version is v3.31..ı want upgrade my rom..but whenever I go into asus web site ı see upgrade roms are only install other regions..why asus don't create rom for turkey,russia ? people who live there aren'T customers?

It does! I mean Asus has ROM versions for Russia for sure - it's the same WWE but with Russian localization included. But it should be installed separately after upgrading the ROM. The main difference - the lady in the Voice Commander speaks Russian. Other things are the same.
As far as I am Russian - I have no idea about Turkish ROMS available.

I've love to be able to use my P535 in english as well....it's a terrific unit, I'm just not that great with Chinese.
Maybe Ingvarr or Sorg can help before official rom from Asus.

and all the .rar archive contains is some vague instructions in chinese....and a 37k ov2 file (which I assume is a POI overlay for TomTom)

that's odd. i just downloaded 3.34 FR and 3.32 WWE, and Radio 4.5, BT Patch, and i see a lot more old ones.

I think it should be release soon as on Asus website (global) already shows P535 in english!
Guys, keep tracking... Asus released updates for chinese HK and Taiwan already: P535_V4314CHT_HK.rar and P535_V4314CHT_TW.rar
at their ftp site. As they already have advertisement for english version, soon they will release! (finally!)

Nothing weird.
ASUS only places downloadable ROM on support site if it is an upgrade.
Since they disallow to install ROM on different language device, they see no need for making downloadable original ROM available.
Nobody made ROM image yet? I think will have some similar procedure to change ROM language as did in P525 soon, right?

Is this WWE or German ROM? Beside when you say it is fast. What you have been using before this ROM

The Rom is german. I use a lot of Roms before, the best an most stable one, was KDSkamal, WM5 Ultimate edition. Now i will test this official Rom from T-Mobile. If KDSkamals Rom is in german, it will be perfectly! Sorry, for my bad english.

Of course the ROM will initially be in German.
But is the language customizable? Can you change it to WWE?
I've tested the S710, and that device you could change the language of the OS. You had to do a hardreset afterwards, but ah, you've just did a ROM-upgrade so everything is gone anyhow.

Any ideas on this from anyone?
Changing regional settings doesn't do much. Try changing them to German or anything in your WWE ROM and you'll see the vast majority of the OS is still English.

Changing Regional settings will not change the OS language. In order to change the OS language you would need to exchange all the *.mui files ( Like "shellres.dll.0407.mui" for german ) with English *.mui files

i think you can use the roms from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=389421
they are created mainly for thai user, but i dont see why you should not use it. As far as i can tell, the only diffrence between rom version is network setting for auto config program, and maybe some regional setting.
for network setting you can backup from official rom first and then copy it later to use.
regional setting etc can be changed from setting page.
im pretty sure since its able to use thai fonts, the rom will support unicode in case you need it.

I am not sure that such exists fro the US T-mobile phone. Anysoftkeyboard supports almost all European languages.

Samsung phones don't use WWE in their ROMs and for your information there is no russian interface (language settings) available at the moment for T989 only German, Spanish French Italian and Chinese. I really doubt somebody will start on building ROM with russian interface unless these phones start selling in Russia in huge quantities!

Don't quote me on this. But I recently re-flashed (ROM is great, that's not why) Sirius (From RootzWiki - I am apparently not allowed to link yet in my post, so search it - sorry) and I believe that in the first few steps after I flashed (where you sign into Google and such), it asked me to choose a language, and I believe there were a few Asian Pacific languages available. Again, please don't quote me on this. Also, I am not sure if this choice would be for the whole phone interface, but I would ask the developers in that thread, they should certainly know. ROM is great btw!

Just one thing to know, forget about the last rom with sense. It's way to slow (the sms app made by htc...). Just get the normal wm6.5 rom instead

can you share any link please ? I cant find anything. Or any custom rom ? I need speed and battery . I dont care for beauty. I made my htc not boot anymore because i installed cdma rom . Hahaha
I have the French stock rom somewhere and can share it to you if you want
Elsewhere, try my rom (link in sognature). It's fast, with wm6.1 but htc features from the wm6.5.

my language is greek but if u cant find greek i can use english only...
i care for fast and stable ROM...i dont care if looks like nice or not..and of course i need sense.i dont know differences between versions

After three weeks, here comes my answer ! (and sorry btw...)
On the HTC website, go to support (www.htc.com/gr/support) and enter the phone model (touch pro 2). You'll get an update notification something about transcriber. Click on "see more" and find the correct update (files should be bigger than 100MB )
Hope this helps, I got that working on the french support, should work on the greek one too !
