After a few hours of flashing I realised that my Exec wont send MMS messages unless the radio version is 1.09. It doesnt matter what CE image or bootloader i am using.
I originally installed a qtek image with radio 1.15 and I couldnt send MMS. I then flashed the radio 1.09 by itself and it worked like a charm. I then flashed a crossbow image with radio 1.13 and i was getting a clear error message by the MMS utility: error synchronising. I am now flashing radio 1.09 on that WM6 image. Maybe this will work.
The problem is that it doesnt receive notifications about MMS messages and doesnt connect to send new ones. My problem with 1.09 though is that the WiFi protocols are very limited and cant use them with my router. Not sure if the wifi protocols are in the radio anyway. Can anyone else confirm this?
Edit: The radio version downgrade didnt make any difference

I looked at Radio ROM 1.14 and wouldn't know why xda2unlock should not work. If anyone used it successfully with radio 1.14 please report it here. If you had a problem with radio rom 1.14 and xda2unlock v2.2 and don't mind a hard reset of your device, send me a private message.
can anyone help me revive my Imate JAM, No GSM! I tried ROM upgrade to the latest version from clubimate ERROR 120:COUNTRY ID ERROR! Thankfully i run into this MaUpgradeUt_noID in this forum and was able to revive my unit , i thought i was home free. A week later No GSM again! Since then my JAM is just a PDA, all works fine except the phone. If i run the upgrade utility it stops at radio stack. I tried upgrading without the radio stack( remove the radio stack file from the folder which contains all the upgrade files) it succeeds..well not really i still have no radio rom installed. Is it end of the road for my device? HELP! Please...
Dear all,..
Since I unlocked my MDA-PRo sim lock with the Buzz sim unlocker i'm experiencing radio problems.
I've tries almoast every ROM incl radio Roms. Still nu success.
The problem is that I do have a radio connection, but it keeps disconnecting when Im roaming. The GPRS connection keeps disconnecting, the radio signal disconnects when driving in my car. In the same road my work phone has no problem, only the Exec.
Before the Unlock there was no problem, after unlocking there is. Yesterday I re-unlocked my MDA-Pro with the BuzzDev unlock tool V1. sTill the same problem, not a steady radio signal...
Please advice...

After changing radio version into 0.00.00. with HTC_Uni_Unlock_v1. It is impossible to upgrade radio version of Exec with MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe.
I have upgraded radio version of my Exec with ROMUgradeUt.exe sucessfully. No any problem.
The problem isnt upgrading, but disconneting the radio signal several times a day. And when the radio signal is back again, the GPRS connection won't establish automatticly.
Before I userd the Sim unlock tool there weas no problem, but now when my MDA-Pro is unlocked there is...
I've unlocked my phone 1 year ago, since then I'm experiancing this problem. I've really tried almoast every rom, and every radio rom. Still no success...
Can someone tell me which rom (doesn't need to be a WM6 rom) including the radio rom is the best for the MDA pro?
thanx in advanced...
Arjan
Actually I am using Rom PV 2.10.07 and radio 1.15.00, my device is working normally.
I know you're probably asking why I would want to run an older radio but now there is some weird static in my calls that weren't there when I used radio 1.38, I'm currently using 1.46.
Yes you can. Just need to flash radio only
i flashed wm6.1 tnt to my hermes a few days ago and it worked like a charm, for a week atleast, till yesterday when it started delaying sending text messages, since texting is what i do all the time, it got pretty irritating, i thought it might be congestion from my service provider so i called em up and lodged a complaint, however when i shifted my sim to a nokia the messages started going fine, now thinking it might be a rom problem i flashed the official htc 6.0 rom but it had the same problem and then i downloaded crc_r11 rom which is the best one ive had as yet, it worked fine for about half a day and now its started giving me the error, 'text message cannot be sent' and that too after like a minute or two of trying to send it, shifting the sim to another phone fixes the problem... does anyone know a solution to this? my ipl is 1.04 and spl is 1.40 olipro
right now im downgrading to wm5 to see if that fixes the problem but i really loved crc v11
could this be a radio rom problem?
Yes. what radio are you using?
best practice is to flash with your carrier's shipped rom, and then upgrade/downgrade radio and then flash with crc's which I love too!
guess what. i just went into device information to check which radio rom version i have and.... its all blank! no rom version no radio rom version no protocol version no rom date! in the next window that has information on memory and colours etc theres a load of random characters. i mean nothing readable. and in the outgoing and incoming call timer fields it says 'unknown'
whats going on :s
i just hard reset my device
got this
radio version
1.48.00.10
See how you get on with your Radio showing up now. If you want to change make sure you follow the guidlines in the WIKI as upgrading the Radio is the most dangerous thing you do with your phone. (unless you take it high board diving with you... )
which radio rom version shud i use then in your opinion?
i just downgraded my phone to the stock vodafone rom that it came with and the radio rom version is 1.32.00 however the wm6.1 roms are 1.48 as i told u before, shud i install them new windows and then downgrade the radio rom?
i tried what zocster said, flashing vodafones wm5 rom downgraded my radio rom to 1.32 and then i upgraded to crc 11 and the radio rom stayed the same so all systems go till now
thanks guys!
