Re-Mapping "OK" Button - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

I searched the forums and couldn't find it myself but I was looking for the post with the cab that will remap the OK button...but then again it's probably right in front of me and completely missed it.
I swear I read a post about that a few days ago.
Thanks a lot!

Keyboard fix...

Hello all,
I just upgraded my 8525 to wm6 black 2.0, all went flawless, thank you very much for all envolved.
1 problem, is there a known keyboard issue, and fix. I noticed when I selected shift (to use a symbol) from the keyboard it was the wrong symbol.
Example, I hit the blue dot so I could select the colon, but I got a semi colin. The dash actually was the colon.
I hope this makes sense, is there a known issue and fix?
Thank you.
is this a joke?
you couldn't read the wiki (or do a simple search) before starting a new thread and asking a question that has been answered thousands of times already?!?!?
Mods, please ban this user and close this thread.
Sheesh easy turbo...
I did a search...
I saw no wiki...
Found no answer. Why do you got to be sucha jerk. Oh yeah and thank you for the answer.
Close the thread is fine but ask for me to be banned... I am a newbie... this is my welcome to my first post...
Here you go. It was easy to find though.
Thank you... and yes after the post above I searched again and found it. It helped narrowing the search to the correct forum.
Thanks again KarhU

You need to soft reset!
I crush you like a puny bug!
(Said with my best gap-toothed Ahnuld accent. Which, in all honesty, kinda sucks)

Will this CAB file work with the Softbank X01HT also? I'm also having the keyboard layout issue. While I did find a way to manually tweak the registry, I would rather not mess with it if this CAB can fix my issue. Any help is appreciated.
this works for me.

How to open up dash?

Hi everyone,
I recently dropped my phone hard. Nothing was damaged except the speaker (the one right above the screen). It doesn't sound very clear when I'm making a phone call. It sounds very awful.
I'd like to know how to open up my dash and maybe I can try to fix it. I noticed there are 6 screws. I unscrewed them but I still can't figure out how to open it up.
Any help would be appreciated!
i know there was either a post on howard forums or modaco on opening it... do a search here, i know i saw it!

Thanks a lot man!!
Alright, so I need to replace my speaker. Does anyone know where to buy parts for dash?
Please let me know.
Thanks

word prediction after 1 letter

yes i already posted this in the raphael thread but no one seems to know the answer so i thought i would post here. thanks
I am using the htc T9 keyboard and i am trying to figure out how to get it to give me a list of words after the first letter is typed. as it stands right now its gives me a list of words after 3 letters. i have tried going to settings input and word completion but it does not works as i think that is for the winmo default keyboard. i have searched everywhere but i can't find the answer. thanks for the help in advance

Thanks Button

Where is the Thanks Button to say "thank you"? i have read many realy good post here in this forum but i cant say thank you!
1. You have to be logged in first.
and
2. The Quick Style Chooser, (the drop-down box down in the far bottom left of each page), must be set to style "XDA 2010" or "XDA 2013", if it is set to "XDA Classic" you won't see it.
thank you very much! now i found it it was next to quote and multi quote and qick reply!
still not seeing it
You see the yellow "Post Reply" button?
Look at the opposite side of the screen, INSIDE the previous post on the topic. The first button you see is the "Thanks" button, befor "Quote", "Multi-Quote" and "Quick Reply"
its on the right side where the quote button is.
hope this helps.
Tanks button
svetius posted in another thread that you won't see the button until you have made 1 post.
