Low In Call Volume Solved For Me - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

I have had the blues with the low call volume on my TYTN after flashing to WM6.
I just updated my Radio to 1.38.00.10 and my vomlume is real loud.
Give it a try.
Allan

i have that radio and still lower incall volume than wm5

I have only had a couple of calls. They all sounded noticeably louder. Maybe this crazy eastern weather boosted my signal.

I haven't noticed any improvement of the sound loudness after upgrading my Radio from 1.35 to 1.38. The volume level is still lower that it used to be when I had WM 5

Sorry for the stupid question.
Where have you find the 1.38 Radio ROM?
I only managed to find the 1.34 or 1.35 versions.

Oops .... it looks like it was really a stupid one (and easy to find).
After installation seems that incoming call volume is still low bet better than I had with 1.34.

Low Headset and ringer Volume + bluetooth (1.39 already)

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to fix these 2:
1. My stereo headset volume for WMP is painfully low. Any traffic in the car or bike drowns out the sound. Also the ringer volume is so low that I can only hear my phone ring in a relatively quiet room.
2. I have installed CE ROM 1.40 and Radio 1.12 and BT 1.39. Still my blue tooth clarity for the other party on the phone is horrible. Before I upgraded the CE ROM, it was actually bearable for the first time. I prefer 1.40 - but will regress if I can't find a fix.
Have now spent a lot of time reading through Wiki and the forums and have not found any resolution to these two.
Any ideas on any of the above would be very much appreciated,
Cheers
Russel
I've found nueaudio to do the trick.

Volume level in MDA III

Problem: volume level in MDA III
Hello,
Description of the problem:
During the phone conversation when using the loudspeaking mode, the volume of the sound is considerably lower than while using the same speaker by other applications (tom-Tom or Destinator). It forces me to use headphones while driving a car. But the experience with other aplications shows than it could be heard louder: both amplifier and speaker have such a possibility.
Has anybody faced such a problem. If yes, what is the solution?
Regards
Zdzich
Wow, good point. I never thought of that but you are right.
Did you try pushing up the volume slider whilst in a call? I know it may sound sily, but I have to ask.
Sure.
Definitely a bug with 1.40 ROM and speakerphone...
so far I have yet to see or find a solution...
I did not have this problem with the 1.33 ROM on my SX66.

Any one have Volume issues with1.48 radio?

Man mine is really reduced!
Full volume and still tough hearing with any backround noise.
Any radio's known for loud volume?
Thanks
no problem with mine sounds nice and clear im using vp3g new rom
i'm having that issue actually...my ring volume is not that loud and even my music volume seems not as loud as before and its irritating me...i'm thinking of changing back to 1.47 or something
Haven't noticed any volume related issues here...
Yeah i have 3g's also... Nice...but dont think its the Rom.
Tryed 1.48 before w/same issue....this is the same radio coming with the Att upgrade too right ?
Any ideas anyone?
might return to 1:40 radio .
had the sames issue when the offical first came out...i thought i was the dopod rom..so i changed to the official att rom and it was fixed...now i'm on the vp3g rom and still works good...but that first one was real bad...i could barely hear anything with the volume all the way up
with black satin med + 1.48 my volume is loud as hell
Radio 1.47 much better
I experince drop call on radio 1.48, revert to 1.47 everthing seem to be very good.
Yea, my radio seems to be a little softer now too. I've got the 1.48 and I have a hard time hearing anyone on speaker phone, and that up all the way!
I haven't tried 1.47 before, but I might try it now and see if it's any louder. But I AM going deaf!! So that might be my problem!!
The loudest Rom
The loudest rom i have tried is JJ's rom. You might want to try to flash black satin.
I am running black satin and 1.48 with no problems at all, I had major issues with 1.47. Maybe the problems are more with where you are, I am using at&t in north carolina

ATT Rom in SW Florida. Volume very low.
Most of the time the problem is with ROMs not running a Preconfig.txt file that contains SetAcusticParamiter.exe... with this exe run at start up your volume will be almost to the point where you have to turn it down! this has been talked about many times and this is the best solution out there. All WM6 roms have this exe in them but some cooks choose not to have this app run at the configuration of the device for some reason. i dont belive the radio has anyhing to do with the volume of calls incoming and outgoing.
You guys been washing and cleaning ears lately?

In case you are using WM5, upgrading to WM6 might help, as WM6 is known having higher sound volume levels.
Also, upgrading to a newer Radio version might help in case you are using an older/the original one.
I'm running WM6 and I too think the volume is a little low
tnyynt
i have wm6 mary 3.4 sl.
radio 1.50.08.11
there is no diffrent , but, 1 day last week i installed kramba rom 4.1 or 5 , i dont remember and the sound was great , even if i didnt turn on the speaker, i could hear better in my ear.
so any one has some tool to gain up a little ?

When you take a call, just take the wheel on the left side and the speaker volume get higher or lower

Anyone Ever Solve TP2 Volume Problem?

Has anyone come up with a working solution for the low speaker volume during phone calls on the Touch Pro2? Tried the Audiopara tweak, and lost ALL volume on the speaker, Tried changing settings with "HD Tweak", no effect. FWIW, my ringer volume is fine.
Seems like some folks get results, some don't. My hearing is lousy to start with, so I really need to find a working fix, or ditch the phone.
Use this cab and then reboot
It worked great for me

Makes the button beeps louder, but completely eliminates all phonecall audio!
Not only that, but deleting the cab didn't restore what little audio I had. Had to do a hard reset!!!
Yea .. I have been strugling with this also .. I have a t-mobile tp2
I updated to the new wwe 6.5
The Volume on the incall / ear speaker isnt loud enough for me
( I work const. And have bad hearing )
I have tried very trick in the book and have goten everything to be louder
but the ear volume LOL the speaker the announcements ect .. are good .. even was able to fix the ringer volume and voice command announcements.
Everything I try screws up the ear volume makes it too soft or to bassy
or just screws it up ..
Anyone have a clue how to fix this ?

Strange, I have it working great and imrpoved the volume a lot!
Perhaps is something related with your ROM
If uninstall not helped, which is strange also, then soft reset and if not hard reset will be the option...
Sorry to hear did not worked for you
I feel your pain, brother! I have 3 of these phones, and am about to give up and sell them because of this stupid problem. What really gets me is that I have seen this same very common complaint (low earpiece volume) with other HTC phones as well. I know of several that have been returned. Don't they pay attention to customer feedback? "Full volume" should be painfully loud, not barely audible. Such a shame to have this be the "deal breaker" for an otherwise great phone.
Some might say to try the SRS WOW HD program, don't do it. It causes lockups and the units don't come out of power down states.
Bump. Bump.

All three have the same issue? Cdma or gsm? My verizon tp2 has very adequate volume and I usually have to have it turned down a notch or two or it is painful to my ear. Same when using the loud speaker. I thought I saw a volume fix cab floating around, might be for specific cdma roms, not sure. I'm wondering if it is more of a gsm v. issue. I agree I have seen this with many diff htc phones, but I can also say I've seen/heard of it with nokia and also other makes. Sorry I have no help, just the comment.
Ringtone Gets Loud In The End
My Ringtone Is Low In The Beginning But At The End Of The Ringer Its A Real Loud Increase In The Sound. I Tryed The Rhodium Audio Parameters And The AudioPara3. Should I Try AudioPara4???? Im on Radio 4.49.25.17 And Under Software Info It Says...
OS Version: 5.2.21854
Manila Version: 2.1.19202517.0
Rom Version: The Cell Pro Series WWE
Rom Date: 9/25/09
I Need Help With Making My Ringers LOUD!!!!!! LOL and im on 6.5
Related:
I have too LOUD in-call volume from the phone.
Using the built-in volume rocker does NOTHING to the in-call voice volume.
The volume is so excruciatingly painful that I can keep my wired HTC hf set 10cm from my ears and still listen perfectly to the conversation.
Not very practical though.
Is there ANY working solution that makes the Volume controller actually control in-call voice volume during phone calls?
I'm running stock 6.5 ROM with no hacks and no audio related software installed.
Bump
Still hoping for an answer.
