Sorry if this sounds a daft question, but I have a Motorola HS810 which I am looking to replace.
Does anyone know of a replacement which would also support A2DP - or is this standard only available on the twin earphone type headsets.

Hi,
I'm after a loudspeaker device for my XDA II to use in the car whilst driving. I already have a cradle in the car (without a speaker) so my thoughts were that I could buy a bluetooth device. I have seen the Jabra P100 model (something like that) which is suppose to be quite good.
Has anybody got one of these or uses another device which will work.
Thanks.
xdaII dont support it
as in audio over bluetooth or A2DP as the profile is called
you can use a fm transmitter like belkin tunecast2
Handsfree speaker
Try www.jabra.com model SP100 Good luck
Is it me or is it taking ages for A2DP to work its way in to Cars?

ministry of sound have had a bluetooth headset out for a couple of years now. i dont know its capabilities but i know it does work as hands free with the headunit doing all the muting ect. i'm guessing it could also do audio in theory but i'd be wanting hi quality stereo profile capable.

Nice find, but neither of those units support A2DP or AVRCP, and as you say, what we all really want is the high quality audio with the control functionality.
Can someone recommend a good stereo bluetooth for the TP2 that also has caller ID on the unit? & I mean ones that I can plug my earphones in2, not the headset. Thanks
I have good corded earphones with integrated microphone and answer button that acts also as a playlstop button for the audio player on phone.
My question is, is there some simple bluetooth adapter that I can attach my earphones to it, and use them as wireless earphones?
I Know there are many expensive adapters with integrated microphone and controls but I already have earphones With good microphone and controls I I only need a simple adapter.
Thanks in advance.
Sony Ericsson MW600 allows you to connect your own headphones. I have it and it is great. It does have it's own mic though so not sure how it would cope with another mic on the headphones.
So that's what my question is about, because i don't want to buy it and then it won't work well with my earphones.
Couldn't wait to set up combo mw600+ibeats

What about jabra street2/clipper , or air-fi AF9 ?
anyone tried them?
The Motorola H720 and H730 are bluetooth headsets with no earbuds and the speaker is flat against the side. However, they do not have a2dp for music. Is there anything else similar with a2dp?
Start searching for something with two earphones (stereo). I don't know of any mono headset with A2DP.
If you want recommendations, you should give more details about what you want from it and how much you're willing to spend.
Cheers!
no
do not understand
I haven't seen anything like this either. Those business bluetooth headsets intended for phone conversation rather then multimedia streaming, thus everything I have seen so far in that type of bt headsets doesn't support A2DP. If anybody would have it, it would be Plantronics, but they don't offer it. To have full multimedia support you need stereo bluetooth headsets like LG HBS730 or Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 or BlueJays BlueBuds X. Look into my signature link for reviews of a lot of these headphones.
