Hi
Im a bit confused, I went to the O2 shop today and they claim that Orbit has 262k resolution, while I only see 65k on the wiki pages of this site. Did O2 upgrade the resolution of their orbit?
Hi
The colours are 65k, here is a screen screen shot from my Orbit

It was a man who doesnt know what he's selling! Anyway I asked him about Orbit owners who have complained of corrupt mini sd cards or missing files/folders that happens intermittently and he replied they NEVER encountered such complaints/problems from customers. Im getting a bit off topic here but... there you go!
Thanx for the screenchot
I read somewhere that newer htc devices can display up to 262k, but windows mobile is restricted to 65k

Hi guys,
As you probably figured, I am new to this forum and to XDA. I am waiting delivery. I've also ordered a 1Gb microSD card from ebay....unbranded samsung chip I thing...it was a fiver so I thought what the heck.
I see lots of post here talk about unlocking, ExtRom, Bootloader etc....
What I would like to know is even though the o2 XDA is unlocked, is the software locked in someway so the one is no able to install custom rom?
What are ExtRom's?
I am hopeing to use the GPS for hiking and also like a A-Z, does it give you accurate reading?
Can you guys point me to the reading materials to brush up on XDA?
Thanks in advance.

Yes it's accurate. You will need two different pieces of software for hiking and for A-Z type navigation.
I use Memory Map with OSGB mapping for "off-road" and Co-Pilot for "on-road".
There are other options for each type of use.

There's an XDA Orbit dedicated website here

Thanks guys, I am still waiting for the delivery of my Orbit, bloody Carphone people screwd up the delivery.
hi all
just wandering... ive just upgraded to wm6 but i dont have the big digital clock as seen on most screenshots of wm6 but i would love to have it.....
can some one tell me whats going on?
thanks
Westie277
You'll be needing HTC Home for that
Do a search and you'll get lots of reading and customisations for it.
Smiffy.
ok that didnt really help sorry all i want is the basic big digital clock on the home screen could someong give me the link to it?
How did he not help you, that is what your looking for. WM6 by default doesnt come with a big clock. Its added in later by manufacturer and end user.
Here u go

This is HTC's version if this isnt what you want then use your searching skills, like everyone else
But as lordsmiff has given you good advice you should learn to search first then read before you post, he is valued contributor to this site and is trying to help you become one too. Flashing can be addictive so happy reading and flashing.

You can also try Samsung Clock if you do not need all the functions of HTC Home.
Come one then, what version of Windows Mobile is on my Vodafone Branded TP2? No photoshopping was used...
Anyone else noticed this...

CE 5.2.21048.1.6.3 is WM 6.1. Seems as if something messed up your about screen (probabely the same software that messed up your start bar icons)

If it were photoshop you'd know (I have no art skills what so ever). Must be the m6 Icon's .
Oh well.
Now that's sorted, I'll close myself .

well it doesn't seems very exiting to me this specs ... with no hspa an no front camera and less RAm then DHD .. the only thing that I've appréciated here is the internal memory .. finaly HTC had to put a real capacity on their device.
I don't really care about mindblowing hardware specs, it's the OS that's giving me the boner.
Dimensions on that pic are a mistake. The dimensions leaked earlier are more realistic, almost identical to the HD2.
hopefully all the hardware inside will be the same as HD2 so it make porting to hd even better. even tho ts must be different with HD2
so its basically a windows 7 HD2. early reports are that the screen is lack luster

Yes, and with a kickstand that will be broken in about a week...
Here's a link and it seems to have multiple people saying it works. I'm weary to try it just because it makes me do surveys to get the files...

I'm looking to accomplish a root without modifying the system, as mentioned on this website, but I need to update to 6.0 first.

If that is Genuine date must change....
there are approximately 2-3 websites that say 6.0 to Desire Eye Don't Trust them
My Devices
Current < ======================== Previous
Of course it is a load of xxxx. I have a Desire 816 and out of all of google that is the only site with Marshmallow for Desire 816x. You can try there survey and you might get a gift. But it wont be Marshmallow for your device.
