Someone know how to disable it?
I mean the autorotation on screen turning, just because I have to use opened in landscape mode (car support)
I tried many registry settings.. services disabled, but nothing works
Any help will be appreciated

Hi Fellas...
The Dopod800W comes with Mapking instead of TomTom.
It's a pretty simple problem.
Once you run Mapking and start navigation mode (which goes into full screen), my mouse pointer will stop functioning. This problem stays there upon exiting of Mapking. When I toggle on the pointer, it appears, but the trackball functions as if there is no pointer. The pointer obviously does not move.
I'll need to reset the device for it to work again.
Does anyone have an issue with their TomTom as well?
Thanks for reading!!

Mask - I only encounter once similar to your problem. After I do a hardreset, so far i did encounter such problem.
I have no problem with the pointer. My pointer working well to open the Mapking and also in Navigation mode. After i close the Mapking app. the pointer still working.

mask - fyi, no longer facing any problem on the floating SIP during activesync and also the pointer problem. This was after i did a hard reset and do some registry tweaking which might not related to troubleshoot the SIP & Pointer problem. Perhaps I am lucky...
registry that I tweaked :-
- power management
- disable menu animation
- enable landscape cleartype
- unhide Ext.Rom
- add the HTCHomeplug to PocketBreeze tab.
- installed PhonePad International version
** do u reliase the WIFI signal range is bit weak... and i'm still facing the GPSTuner problem !!! **** !!! argggggh !!!

It seems that various registry tweaks can solve the floating SIP problem.
I got my solution from Bongsu3 from PPCSG. Details:

Now... I think my GPS got problem. Can connect to many satellites.. up to 9+.. but I can never get a fix!! for both Mapking 10 & 12
Is it possible to force landscape mode in apps such as Tomtom 7 and IE without opening the keyboard?
They don't seem to automatically recognize when the phone is rotated.
R.
you can do both automatic rotation with either gconfig or gyrator and forced orientation change from within an application or the usual "rotate scree" reg hack.
Tom,
Thanks for the pointer.
The reg hack here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=418588 works just fine.
R,
I just installed Gyrator2 on my TP2 and it works very nice!
you can find it here:
http://gyrator.brins0.net
then the screen can turn in all directions automaticly
Hi,
Anyone know how to turn this auto-rotate screen?
I cannot see it happening, for example on the default web browser.
I turn and turn, but it does not go to landscape for example.
In the Settings -> Sound & Display -> I enabled the screen orientation already.
try calibrating the g sensor. somewhere in settings
Done. I have done it many times ...
It is being charged now, does this affect the accelerometer?
DAMN!
I did not know that the auto-rotate ONLY WORK ONE WAY!
The buttons must be in the right-side ....
It does not work if the buttons in the left side
*LOL*
I disabled the auto-rotate. Is it still possible to rotate on-screen keyboard to landscape manually while typing SMS etc? Thank you..

yes, it's a design flaw. For me the volume should be up at the top. I keep hitting the volume when holding the device at Landscape.
Does anyone know what line should be added in sys.txt in order to activate vibrations on the phone, in pedestrian mode, at each turn. For example, instead of the voice saying "turn left" I want to have one vibration for this move. On older version of iGO app this feature was active by default.
Thanks
Pedestrian mode

I am also interested in pedestriam mode.
I woild like bigger ZOOM in 3D by default.
Any chanche in sys.txt ?
Anyone knows how to rotate screen? I tried Closed App Settings but it doesn't work. Tried several other apps and modules. Nothing works to rotate screen.
I need rotation to force Here Maps into portrait mode in which it is possible to access settings and change map location from internal to external SD location. (Yes I know that most other settings are available in driving mode even on landscape but storage location is only available in default settings which are blank in landscape mode - known issue in Here)
The g-sensor on my phone broke, so the automatic screen rotation stopped working for me. So I've been using this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.crape.rotationcontrol&hl=en
It has a menu bar that lets you choose between landscape and portrait mode.
It works well on my phone. Hopefully it works on your radio.
i think you would have to change the allow rotation flag in the mysql db to true to actually get it to rotate and then echo it in there every time the thing starts

IIRC you can get to the settings on the bottom of the screen in driving mode.
