Does anyone know of a way to access or download a XAP downloaded from the Marketplace on to a device.
I was unable to find any XAP files in the Zune backup directories. Has anyone had any luck with this?
Thanks
If you put your phone in WiFi mode, you can use wireshark (possibly along with Cain and Abel) to sniff the connection when you are downloading it. That's what Hounsell did over in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=820455&page=3
That feature was removed a couple of days ago when a website was linking people directly to the files of the zune marketplace. This was actually a feature for developers to use so they could share the app with other testers, but since it was abused it was removed. Also downloading the xap files is only half the battle you need to have a developer unlocked phone inorder to load the app and run it on your phone.

It's not a true (said SeNS just deployed application to the retail HTC Surround via "Application Deployment" tool).

When you install WP7 bits, you will have a start menu folder called "Windows Phone Developer Tools". There are 3 programs listed: "Application Deployment", "Windows Phone 7 Emulator" and "Windows Phone Developer Registration". After registering your phone you be able to upload XAP even on retail device. At least I've tested recently arrived AT&T's HTС Surround.

To register your phone, you'll need a WP Developer Account, so yes. You will need a developer-unlocked Phone
I think you're confused between a Developer Phone (ie, one that's pre-release for development purposes) and a Developer-unlocked Phone (one that's retail, but has been unlocked with a developer account so that it can run unsigned, non-marketplace code).
U mean the problem is in the $99 to become a developer? ;-) It's not a real problem, at least for that forum members, I think so...

Woaw, glad it's in the correct forum now
So, there is no app to install a xap without going thru marketplace!?!

... sorry, fixed and thx. ;-)
Can't understand...
...why there isn't an version for poor winxp laptop users...
I can install it, run it, see all the app even more then the for my windows phone!?!
About the WP app, I noticed that on HTC store in PC version I see also HTC hub and HTC connection setup; but I can't see them in the WP app...
I have HTC Gold with Dynamics 1.01b ROM (Tango 7.10.8773.98).
This happened also with previous PWPD and Ansar roms...
EDIT: for curiosity, I opened the WP7 app, chose HTC store, and pushed the search button and wrote hub: I got as result HTC Hub and now I'm updating it... ???
so,the applicaton is very great!
congrats on releasing it
Released source
...for detail question about using source you can contact me at [email protected] ;-)
It's fantastic, thanks man.
great job! Thank you very much my friend
What is the proper way to request features or report bugs for a given ROM (e.g. Xiaomi Mix 2). I saw a maintainer name was listed but there's no way to contact him.

If you go to the following LineageOS link...
https://download.lineageos.org/chiron
... at the top of the page (under the words "Builds for chiron"), select the "Device info" and it takes you to the following link...
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/chiron
... scroll to the bottom portion of that page and the listed "Maintainers" reflects "@mikeioannina" as the Official Lineage Team Maintainer for your device.
Fortunately, this individual has the same member name, as follows, on XDA as well.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=3839575
With that stated...
The only thing that I can guide you to is the following Official Lineage Link that reflects a way to either Contribute and where to ask for support.
https://www.lineageos.org/community/
You now have all the information on where/how to contact the Lineage Team and the individual via XDA and the above link.
I hope that I had explained this okay via text...
Good Luck!

UNLESS asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my SM-G900V device.
