disable hardware keyboard - TomTom 6 keyboard - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hello,
I`m using TomTom 6 as navigation software on my T-Mobile MDA 3.
But I have the problem, that the TomTom Keyboard isn't show in fullscreen to input the destination adress. I must type on a button to show the fullscreen software keyboard of tomtom.
I have the same problem on my WM2003 and WM2005 devices.
Do anyone know the regkey to disable the hardware keyboard or antother way to fix this?
Regards
Selcuk

Hello,
i have the same problem with tomtom version 6.00. I remember the same problem was with the first version(s) of tomtom 5. TomTom fixed that later with a patch, sad that they have an old problem in the new version.

TomTom 5 Onscreen Keyboard

I have recently upgraded to TomTom 5, and generally things are good except that because my PDA2k has a built in keyboard, TomTom wont show me the onscreen version.
I have contacted TT but they say there are no immediate plans to change this 'feature'. I'm sure you can imagine, with the PDA in a car cradle, I don't really want to be sliding the keyboard out to use. As well as this TT seems to set its own keyboard configuration over the PDA so I can't use the function key to access numbers.
Does anyone know who I can trick TT5 into thinking there is no built in keyboard so I can use the onscreen one?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
Ive actually spoken to HTC about the same issue and they say that it is a bug in TomTom and this is why the button can be assigned ok in other applications / versions. I know this doesnt solve the problem but thought it might help some to kinow where the issue is

WM Bluetooth Issue (On i780)

Hi,
Has anyone come across a fix to make WM6.1 bluetooth connect to the TomTom range of external Sat Nav devices?
It can pair with the phone but does not have the correct services to enable a data connection.
After a bit of research on the wen it appears that this is an issue with WM and not the phone hardware.
Any suggestions welcome.

ToggleBT not working on TP2

I've installed Action Screen Program thati i've installed with no problem on my diamond. Now on my tp2 this program seems not working, i've an error message (error number 1359) and bluetooth won't start.
Anyone has this problem???
nobody use this program?
Don't know if it helps but I had the exact same problem when I installed tomtom7. I had to do a hard reset to solve the problem. Must be a conflict issue with some programs
I have the same problem with PhoneWeaver and Mobile Shell 3.0
SBSH Software support are looking into the issue I can only think that the Bluetooth switching on the TP2 conflicts with third party software. If I get a resolution I will let you know.
Had a similar problem. Apparently the TP2 uses the Broadcom / widcomm bluetooth stack, not the standard microsoft one. This causes the ToggleBT not to work.
Changed the registry key (for the action screen) to point to BTManager instead. Under :
HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\App_8
Change Key "Path = \Windows\BTManager.exe"
Which will pop up the Bluetooth manager from the settings menu.
