Anyone know the file name for screen rotation? Need a shortcut for HButton

I see rotation as an option under "settings, buttons" but not when I go to HButton. What file do I need to copy for a shortcut?

You can use Hbutton with PHM Keys or Schaps Advanced Config to add this feature into Hbutton.

I just upgraded to Meschle's Touch 2.1 ROM that has the Schaps Advanced Config prog on it but I don't see an option for adding screen rotation to any other programs. How would I do that?

Hm, atm i'm using Vanilla 2, so i can't check this issue. Could be the shortcuts aren't there, just the config tool.
If you install by cab, there is a folder called "shortcuts" on your device (in Start Menu\Programs)...
Attached you can find a cab which only adds this shortcuts (deleted AdvancedConfig.exe from cab). Maybe you'll get it working this way ?

I gave up on the screen rotation thing. I got the folder with the shortcuts to work on the touch ROM but it just keeps rotating all the way around in a circle! And it's slow as heck.
But I've been trying to get the regular program to run to make some tweeks on the Premium Plus ROM, but it just won't run. I'll wait for the Premier ROM.

Don't mean to change the subject but how did you get your screen shot to post? I'm using the psc (screen capture) program and I always get a message saying the file is too big when I try to post it to this site. Don't how how to fix that.
Never mind. Had to change it to JPEG.

you just can create a shortcut to rotate: "\windows\advancedconfig.exe" /rotate right (or /left or /your-own-value)

Version 1 of the Adv Config Tool is working (0.9 kept crashing) and now the shortcuts you posted work. Thanks for your help.
The screen capture is part of My Mobiler a most excellent remote tool for the PC.

I've installed exactly this dialpad a few weeks ago and it seemed to work well

i don't use this dialpad - but i had to give it another try after your post
- and still, it's working on my Artemis very well, no issues, a little bit slow imo, but it's working

remove program, soft reset, and try install again? could be your italian rom

By the way: I have downloaded the file and it is just a matter of installing the cab file inside the zipped file?

Weap. By the way works fine for me for about 3 weeks now with B&B v4.3 and Fracoon 's 2.2 rom.

Installed it a couple of minutes ago and it is beautifull !!!
I don't think it is slow (however I am running at 260 Mhz)

1 downside:
you cannot redial the last phone number (which shows in the screen) by pressing the green dial button or the dialbutton on screen

You 're right. Click on "history", and then green button works for me. Redial in 2 moves
I accept that (bug) because it 's beautiful.

Just installed on my T-Mob MDACIII with the original WM5 ROM, looks good and works fine.

HTC Rom branding

Just finally installed my first HTC rom. Very cool... works smooth and has a lot more free memory. However, is there anyway to remove their branding on screens such as in the call history? Here are the "green screens" that I have found thus far. They kinda clash with my scheme IMHO

Run the unlocker and copy the files from the map to the windows directory of the phone. See also the word doc.

Try this.
Put the CAB file in a directory and run it from your phone. After this you will find the HTC unlocker in Start / Expert
Which rom do you use ?

just use total commander. put hte files you want on the phoen in a temp dir... then on the phone go to that dir with total commander and copy them to the desired location. they should overwrite fine.

I am using the ROM listed a few threads above this. I assumed it was a "generic HTC"

So I did the update above WORKED GREAT...THANK YOU...sorry but I have a but...the text color for out going calls is white, how do I change it to black? The white is really hard to see on the new background color I installed. Appreciate the help, any others have this same need?

So the backgound that was in the HTC ROM was a dark blue background with white font...I replaced the background with brushed stainless background...BUT the white font it hard to read...so would appreciate help in finding out where to go and how to change font to black for outgoing calls.

Thanks for the cab file. The com manager looks nice. I don't care too much for the krasier style com manager that is on Kin0kin's rom version 1.30b.
The reason for my trying to install this com manager is b/c there are some glitches that i'm experiencing when i have some of my programs installed. My BT is not functioning properly.
I tried to install this cab, after a reset i figured i'd see the new com manger. But when i pressed the com button i simply got the original kraiser com manger that is on the ROM.
Q. Can i manipulate registries etc. to solve that problem?
Q. what can be causing this malfunctioning of BT functionality with this ROM. I have not experienced it with the same programs with other ROM's.

You have to make sure that you stop the CommManager through taskmanager before installing it.

I ended up going to another ROM and it worked perfectly on it. I'm almost positive I made sure CommManager was closed, and even tried installing it after a soft reset. Oh well, no problem anymore, thanks for the help though.

I used the graphics with my Artemis's COMM Manager and the result was great. Mine displays the "off" buttons in red, unlike the one in the picture in the first post...

Edit: Nevermind, found your graphics and the wlan solution other topics. Still my "OFF" buttons are not red. Do you also have graphics for the other Comm manager options?

Hot to get rid of notifications tab on the top?

Hi all,
I have realized that the notifications tab when you press the top part of the screen is pretty useless and works easily even when you are ending your call and touch it via your ear; it's awful. I can not even see my remaining battery easily because of this.
So the question is; is there any way to get rid of this tab and have the old grid type, big icons style notifications tab?

Special made for u. Tested & fresh from farm Extract & run in ur device. EDIT : Please soft reset after intstall the cab.
Or u may take a look for a (better) one here
Just let me know if u want to revert to default one.

It was fully tested with my unbranded Touch Pro 2 with no issue.

Great program, though for some reason the first time I installed it it went into endless reboots, did a hard reset and everything seems fine now, so just make sure you backup first

Can someone post a screencap of what this cab really does? I am not sure if I understand what it changes....

I tried this method (uninstalling MONX_RHODIUM_LARGE_TITLEBAR and after soft reset installing MONX_RHODIUM_NOTIFICATION_TOPBAR_RESTORE) but it does not restore the original titlebar yet now I am stuck with default WM notifications which I hate!!!
Can you please tell me if there is a manual method (copying files, checking reg keys) to restore this and please post the files?

The restore cab will work after soft reset or :
Delete this key (or uninstall the previous 'monx RHODIUM LargeTitleBar'):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\LargeTitleBar]
And restore/create this key/value :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER]
"Dll"="NotificationManager.dll"
Soft-reset > Done.

Thanks for your reply Monx. I removed the LargeTitleBar key and verified the Dll was set correctly (it was) and did a soft reset but unfortunately I keep getting the default WM notifications.
I noticed below the NOTIFICATIONMANAGER there is a key called NOTIFY:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\NOTIFY]
"Index"=dword:00000000
"Prefix"="NFY"
"Keep"=dword:00000001
"Order"=dword:00000000
"Dll"="NOTIFY.Dll"
Is this a original key or a leftover from some other notifications cab?
I don't think it matters much though, I tried removing the key and I could not notice any difference so I put it back.
I am getting a bit desparate... I was just about to make a full backup before I noticed this so I would really like to get it working again.
Could it be the NotificationManager.dll file is damaged or lost?

I didn't experience any reset loops on my Sprint TP2. I just disabled TF3D before installing, reset, and re-enabled TF3D.
