Let me guess Helmi... u gonna be busy testing the new BETA Rom this weekend. But i wonder how long will it take for people like me to have in my universal..

If there's nothing bad happens? my port of UNI AKU3.2 to AKU3.3 takes 10 minutes, hopes I can do the same with AKU3.5 tomorrow...

m sorry, i didnot understand it.... does this mean that we ll have AKU 3.5 in less than a week... is that true.... now that we have a link of it with the rom.... will it be possible helmi ??? u are just awesome man...... u can really do wonders for our uni

Alrigt i have downloaded all the parts. I will extract them tomorrow and the final file to rapidshare. I might break it up into 3 - 5 parts to save time. Actually i might upload it today.

That is i disabled Activesync. Actually it disabled activesync itself. And i went into bootloader mode (light key+power key+reset). Then i dont understand the part where it says YOU HAVE TO LONG PRESS THE RECODER KEY? WHATS THE RECODER KEY? AND isnt HARD RESET AFTER THE SETUP IS COMPLETE?
Jeez i am super confused and where are the 3 files nk.nbf and radio file etc?
Someone please help me. I am going off to sleep now

You just need to unRAR the first of the RAR files, and you should be able to extract them into a folder.
nk.nbf is the M$ AKU3.5 part.
ms.nbf is the Extended ROM.
radio_.nbf is the Radio part of course.
Can you unRAR and RAR or ZIP the above 3 files into 1 file and FTP it here?

How is AKU3.5 getting on?
Is it newer or older or the same as the AKU3.3 that you posted? Because it says somewhere in that thread 1.90.94 which is older than Jwritemcps 1.90.96 , Helmi 2.50.00 and Indra Beta6

This without the 71 & 72 part.. the OS built is newer, but hv problem with smartdialing, maybe because its incomplete, I'll download the rest (71-72)

I can't download... Have anybody downloaded allready? Place at Rapidshare, plz. What changes are there, comparing with Helmi's Vanila release? What means version 2.00.04?

I have tried all the available WM6. My opinion is the PADVIET one’s are the best.
Yes Indra and helmis are little faster but the available RAM is less than PDAVIET and they are more hangers by those ROMS.
However, it seems all the ROM’s are from the same origin just the each programmer tweaks making the major differences. All of the ROM’s having still the WMP problem.

Just start downloading server must be overloaded

Phone app working for you?
I tried version 2.00.04PV an I found the phone application not to work properly. If you browse the menus, I cannot stop the phone application. It locks up the app. Can you properly use the phone? If yes, I may try this ROM once more. I am now back to 2.00.03PV since I need the phone...

I just need a stable rom with all device's feautes working properly.

Mine did the same thing, do not use the noID.exe use the regular exe, worked for me

I had a Wizard and firstly T-Mobile released a German aku3.3 rom and a few months later somebody found a WWE rom on the Croatian T-Mobile site for my old device. Now, i have a Universal and i've seen that T-Mobile also released a German rom and i everyday checked the Croatian site and hoped the same would happen. Today i realised the new WWE rom is out.

I see...what a find that must have been...I'm in the process of upgrading my Uni and I noticed that the Upgrade Utility App claimed that the Rom it would be upgrading is 2.0.... ? Isn't 2.0 WM6, I noticed that the thread title said Wm5 rom...I just wanted to clarify with you if this rom is WM6 or WM5...

I've tried hundreds of Roms but i think i'll use this for a long time
Ram after soft reset is : 31,7 mb (with 2 Gb. Storage Card,without it it's 32,7 mb...
Storage after soft reset : 40 mb
Looks stable,it's early to say its stable ofcourse but very fast be sure...

Even the AKU2 does already support that....

i've tried this since my post (#2). so far, stable, fast and no hang-ups.

Fixed 12.20.2007 - Schaps 4.01 - No Ext Rom! [Super Storage]

My Stripped Rom originally Crashed w/ KarhU's Benchmark Test.
I think these Roms were built w/ HyperCore's xx_os.nb which also crashed KarhU's test.
Which in both cases may have been the result of not deleting the OEM_FLASHDRV.DLL
I have since followed matts suggestion:

After that, I ran SPB Benchmark two times on my stripped version, and it ran all the way thru without a crash.

I ran Schaps 3.54c w/o Ext Rom for almost 2 months and never had any issues.
It ran just as good as the one with the Ext Rom.
So I did the same for the 4.01's
If you feel the desire to donate, give it to either Schaps, Matt, Bepe, Tadzio or even KarhU, for making sure the cooks only give you the best.
(If I forgot anyone, please forgive me. I just mentioned the ones who I first thought of.

Honest Mistake

Thanks dude, currently running 4.01 with some apps in extended rom, this is perfect. Been running 4.01 for a few weeks now and it is solid.
Had some problems with previous bigstorage roms (freezing) will report back if any problems.
Nice thing is I can just go back to 4.01 standard with a backup file if required.

I hope you mean store a copy of it on the storage card for your treo that you later plan to flash to your Hermes

The 'full' download is corrupt, tried to download twice
when extracted with winrar:

It might be the xx_os.nb I used.
Don't know if that's a bad thing, good thing, or otherwise.
Either way the Rom works great for me.

I am having ridicules internet trouble.
I am going to give up on trying to upload a fixed Full.
Here is all I did to get rid of the Extended_Rom
Get the Ruu_signed.nbh
NbhExtract to NbDump (Tadzio’s Tools)
Replaced Schaps xx_os.nb with Bepe’s (rename if needed)
And then NbBuild.
Used Dutty’s ‘Nb to Nbh.’
And then Flashed.
That’s the simple way, and it worked for me first time.
I actually did a lot more after that to fix shortcuts that pointed to ExtRom, and moved contents of ExtRom to xx_os.nb.dump.
And if you really want to clean it up, you can edit the Registry to reflect changes.

no worries, I stick with 4.01 standard for now.

What did you strip and what did you leave from the full? I don't use all the apps in it but like having some available 'just in case'. actually you can but it requires disabling the old manilla and enabling the new one after its been installed (old manilla will still be on your phone though).
You are better off just upgrading to a newer ROM that has 6.5 and TF3D2.

Try Don Salari clean ROM 23009 and Benko286(23017) Full ROM it is good but abit slow.
dont forget to that you must have hardspl in your device.
