I used this
ROM 1.30.77 WWE
RADIO 1.09.00
and when i search from my PC bluetooth services i found Dialup modem....
but i Chandeg to Helmi AKU3.5 v1.3 ROM and something change .. maybe ...
I dont use from changing rom Dialup because i wasnt out of office....but now i wanted to connect my notebook via Uni and Bluetooth found only Bluetooth Network and Serial Service....
Anybody can help me why i don see modem ? I cant connect from my notebook via UNI...

Since AKU 3 BT DUN was dropped in favour of BT Personal Area Networking
I am also having trouble with this, as my primary OS is OS X which lacks a PAN service.
Helmi has released the broadcomm stack as a test but that fails for me atm.
Try using PAN if you can?

Everything i understand i tried a lot of things but it only works via USB cable ...
I tried Internet sharing but if i choose Internet connection which i am using in mobile and works in Internet sharing it say that it cant connect because unknown reason ...

I'm 95% happy with the Dopod WM5 ROM on my P3600, the only thing missing is that I can't get traffic updates to my tomtom 910.
Hi, I am using mun's 2SE rom and I can now get traffic updates on my tomtom 910.
I did not have to do anything special on the SE version, it just worked.
WM5 etc would not see anything other than the BTHF profile.

Very VERY good news, off to go download WM6 now
I just downloaded and installed mun's 2SE (flawless install). Wow is my phone better
Anyway, it does enable TomTom 910's traffic updating. I had to "delete" my phone from the TomTom 910 and then reconnect to it.
Simple.
Is there any possibility this Bluetooth patch can be worked into the WM6 releases for the Hermes??
I have exactly the same problem (no DUN profile), but on the Hermes.

just upgraded to muns TE version of 6 and tomtom 910 does not see bluetooth DUN
the SE version worked sweet with TT910.

My Tom Tom GO 700 reports this error during the configuration.
"This phone does not report Wireless data connection (DUN) cabalities."
I have loaded mentioned CAB's.(SP1 and BT_DUN) Is ther a hope on getting this going?

After adding new cabs, delete phone from TomTom, delete TomTom relationship from phone. Resync.
done what you hav sudgested, but no good. Still the Error about phone does not report wireless data connection (DUN).
I gues will have to go back to previous release.

Phone is recognized, but cannot connect to cingular.

Thanks worked painlessly on my O2 Orbit (Artemis/3300).

connected my new smartphone shadows with tom tom go 700
After 5 days of struggle, I finally was able to connect my wireless data (DuN) with my tom tom go 700.
What i did is as follows:
extract the attachment and do the following:
1. Unlocked my phone app for tmobile
2. installed WM6_btdun
soft reset
3. copied all files of SPDUNHACK including registary one to the windows folder(\windows)
4. Installed the installed ATCUI, showed me a serial (COM:1) port
softreset
and connected my tom tom...
But as the experts mentioned earlier, while your tom tom is connected, you are not able to surf the net but able to do all other things. It says voice call active.

Hy Guys, I was looking at the thread in the forum, I need a WM6 ENG Rom for IPaq hx2795 that really works. I can pay by PayPal, let me know who has it or can generate it. I am really tired of WM5, it is very slow and freezes all time. Tks.
Maybe to give a try to kozhura's AKU3_52_hx2000 (WM 5.0 English) for IPAQ hx2000 series. I tried it to my hx2490b and is faster than the original. Look at this thread:

This wm6.0 also has the same BUG of battery drained by automatic active sync running.
ABOUT A2DP:
I think someone here must contact Khozura, he successfully make a2dp worked on hx4700 BT either on WM5.0 & WM6.0 by special patch cab.
Please someone here who knows Khozura ask him to make a patch for hx2000, thus we can enjoy a2dp.

Another BUG in WM6.0:
When using TCPMP player, you can not hear any audio from wmv video. Strange?? I can play and hear the same video at WM5.0.

I have used this rom on a hx2190, and i have found it impossible to sync my calander, being unable to use any of the windows live programs and there is no remote desktop mobie. Apart from them it seems to work
Hi all, I put it in my hx2795, the A2DP does not work, the fingerprint reader does not work, the TCPMP sometimes work and not with AVI and does not work with WMV.
I can not see the contrast and error reporting tools, I saw a post where the developer said it is a case of editing the registry but does not say where...
The boot at first time did not work I was in panic, after that took out the sd and cf, drained the battery and retried, it booted but I am afraid of rebooting it again...
I did not try Windows Live and sync calendar, hope it works...
I have tried other tools (excel, word) and it worked well.
I am not sure this ROM is stable yet, any sugestions ? should I try reflash it back to WM5 or there is anything I could do to minimize these problems and keep the WM6 ?
Please help.

OK,
I am having the same hx2795 and I found the following
a) Active Sync is working, When I tried at first time it didn't work. After I did a hard reset then I enabled "Advanced networking" from the "USB" settings menu then it worked
b) Sync over Exchange server working fine
c) WiFi is working, I checked with WEP security
d) Bluetooth is working but A2DP is not working When I tried "High Quality Audio Profile" it says authentication failed, I never see it is asking me for the pass key, so I guess that may be the problem
e) TCPMP works fine for FLASH and AVI movies, WMV does not work because WM6 uses a higher version of codecs, so you have to use WMP or you need to replace the WM5 codecs, search through over the forum you will find a solution
f) Finger print authentication works great.
g) Windows Live and messenger is not working, it says there is no connectivity and I don't know what is the deal. But IM+ is working just fine
h) You can install Finster-WM6_RDP.cab as a Termial Service client, it is very good than the inbuilt RDP client in the original HP ROM and it allows you to connect services that use custom ports
i) ROM seems to be stable and I don't have any problem with other functionalities atleast untill now

hi i have a hx 2790b ipaq and is wondering if there is a WM6 Rom update for it reading this thread it seems there is for the 2000 series, but i cant find the link for wm6 for the 2000 series ipaq's any infomation is appreciated

will this work with transflash / transflash hc cards, and currently my hx2790b will not read a 512 transflash card with sd adaptor, and thats not transflash hc, as i have a 4gb transflash in my N95 and that can read it lol

I could not do 'contrast' and 'error reporting' show, any idea ?
we need some detailed instructions for wm6 on a HX2790b as i have tried all sorts and all i get is incorrect device sku,

Hi,
even I don't see the contrast and error reporting menu, so I guess it might be work for some other hx2000 series and not for hx2795, or it may be some registry hack, I don't know

I'am alredy getting crazy about this. I upgraded my XDAIIs to WM5, ROM version 5.04.10, ext ROM is helmi c14 and I need to use my pda as a modem for the PC.
The problem is that when tapping to internet sharing everything seems fine but my PC doesn't find any PAN given by PDA.
I googled for 2 weeks already and I also tried some hacks to enable DUN but without results.
Please help me

I recently flashed my HTC P3600 (trinity) with the CV93 Manilla2D rom's (XIP 20,931 Build 20931.1.5.0 Manilla2D of CV9) with the radio 1.56.70.11 and the protocole version : 32.89.7020H.
This rom works correctly, but after a while I lose the network. (And there are a exclamation point next to the antenna.). At the startup the network is fine and I lose the network after a time that is never the same.
What can I do?
Is it a known bug?

got that prob also (radio 1.56.70.11 cme 0.9b) .. i put the sim card to another phone, found out sim problem.. change sim and reflash radio to 1.50.08.11 ... that is 2 month past..
now all good..
*sory, i try to flash a through mem. card.. it caused that problem.. again.. i reflash it on my pc and then huh.. it ok now

I' have recently downgrade the Radio ROM to the 1.50.08.11. And, I have less (not any more but less) loss of network.
But, now that is my wireless connection which bug. I'm well connected on my router but sometimes I can surf on web (IE or opera) and get my mails.
I've a secure wireless connection (wep, or wpa is the same) and open mode works well.
Thats is strange because I have no problème with the radio 1.56,
Have you got the same problème ?
