HI, I am new at PDA phones so... I recieved a PDA phone from a from a friend, but is in german language. Phone model is:

So I don't know witch version I have to download to upgrade the rom, so anybody cal tell me where to download the correct rom (witch is the best) and how to upgrade? I read somewhere that I can upgrade over a SD card...so anyone can help me?

Look on the FTP site in the Himalaya ROM section:

The Himalaya is the official HTC designation for the MDA II....so I hope this gives you some help.

My boss got a MDA III as a gift from siemens but it came with the german firmware. He asked me how to put english on it. We got the english firmware from siemens but i could not install it due to country code error or something similar. It is currently activated with cingular (US - FLA). Is there anyway to force a safe firmware with an english firmware?

Use this tool instead of the original upgrade tool available in your software upgrade download.

I have currently a Dutch ROM on my MDA Vario. Can any one help me with changing the language from Dutch to English.
I have gone through a number of posts about ROM language change and to be very honest I am very confused with the different ROM (radio, extended etc) and would appreciate step by step instructions for updating my ROM and instructions on where to find the files.
Change I upgrade my ROM to t-mobile english version or should I use a QTek ROM as suggested by a salesman in the T mobile shop or is there any other stable version which you would recommend. Your help will be much appreciated.
For your information, my phone has a G3 processor and I have recently updated it to the latest version from the t-mobile site (Dutch).

What does the abbreviation WWE mean in the ROM update file ? is this the English version. Please help.
im owner of a MDA PRO from T-Mobile and i want to change the firmware.
What firmware do i need? I want the latest GERMAN unbranded FIRMWARE.
I found something on this Site but i dont know whitch one i should take.
MW5 or WM6? and where can i get it ?

Could need some help! Can anyone with an original German O2 TRION download me the WM6 ROM update from the German O2 site? It is not the same as the one on the WIKI here ... !

Now i want to flash it back into Original T-Mobile Germany ROM (to unlock it)
Can anyone explain me this and flashfile???
