im owner of a MDA PRO from T-Mobile and i want to change the firmware.
What firmware do i need? I want the latest GERMAN unbranded FIRMWARE.
I found something on this Site but i dont know whitch one i should take.
MW5 or WM6? and where can i get it ?

My boss got a MDA III as a gift from siemens but it came with the german firmware. He asked me how to put english on it. We got the english firmware from siemens but i could not install it due to country code error or something similar. It is currently activated with cingular (US - FLA). Is there anyway to force a safe firmware with an english firmware?
If this is a dumb or previously answered questions im sorry; im new to this. I did some reading but i dont think i quite founf the answer.
Use this tool instead of the original upgrade tool available in your software upgrade download.

It's basically the same but it doesn't look at CountryID of the BA.

Can anybody upload the original T-Mobile firmware for MDA Pro. WWE and German version would be nice. I only found an i-mate and O2 image, but no T-Mobile firmware.

T-Mobile still not release new ROM yet , so except O2 and I-mate not others ROM come out,you need to wait until they release.
Does anyone have the above ROM? I totally forgot to back up mine and now I realized, that I cannot revert the device if I want to sell it

Why do you want to revert? Think, the new ROM is finally the best solution for your MDA pro. I also upgrade my MDA pro with the latest O2 Rom. And I´m happy with it.
Ok, you´re right. Not everyone likes a flashed MDA pro. Perhaps anybody from this board can make a backup of a german ROM and upload it.
I would do it. But I ve only overwrited my rom without backup. (I was sure that everything but the brand t-mobile Rom was better!!!!)

Hi Schorsch,
I use the QTek ROM and it's the best ever, but if I want to sell the device again, I want to sell it as an MDA Pro and not as an QTEK Device.

Right. Hope T-Mobile will soon publish an own upgrade for german MDA pro. There´re so many little bugs in the origin ROM, so T-M is forced to make an improvement.

If you want an easy and secure way, then just wait until HTC releases the official WM6.
However, i have the WWE rom on my unlocked P3300 (original TMO Dutch). Read through that topic, it's quite straight forward and easy to do.
is there a posisbility to get the WWE rom in german???
I simply installed the O2 Image on my unlocked TMob MDA C III... Works fine and no problems during the upgrade.
I have a big problem. I need the original T-Mobile ROM, to get my Diamond back to the state it was shipped.
Does anyone have the original ROM?
