Hi all,
I was very busy in these last month and I couldn't being informed about last ROM avaible, official one and home-made one too.
On my JasJar I installed UNI_QTEK_WWE_13077_130176_10900_WWE_Ship
(that should be an home-made one) because it was stable and cleaned, I mean without unuseful software added, and it had A2DP profile too.
Now I would like to upgrade my ROM, because I suppose there should be more improvments...so wich one can you suggest me? What is the best ROM around , stable and with A2DP included?

i found I-mate JASJAR Rom on /ftp, 1.31.79_164_10900 WWE and still AKU2.0 :x
i think not much improvement than previous ROM..don't know about A2DP, coz i don't have bluetooth Stereo ..

Maybe...but what AKU3 ROM Alpha added more than AKU2 did? Is there a step by step to test safely AKU3 ROM Alpha?
I was wondering if it should be better to install last official AKU2 IMate ROM and anableing A2DP profile with that procedure that doesn't mind what ever AKU2 ROM you have installed...if I remenber well there suold be a post about how activate A2DP, but I can't remember where...
Please help me...I am a little bit confused because of my lack of presence in this forum...

ExtRom 1.10.124 WWE
At the moment there are no updates for the XDA2i but there is rumours of one in the pipelines... if its true or not remains to be seen but we can only hope, I hoped that helped.....

It sounds like you have a higher ROM version than the O2 UK XDA2i Sanden.
Mine is
ROM version 1.11.00 WWE
ROM date 01/27/05
Radio Version 1.03.00
Protocol Version 1337.42
ExtROM Version 1.11.144 WWE
but that's cos I'm using the iMate 1.11 upgrade ROM on it.

you upgraded you're 2i on the( pda2k) i-mate rom.
i would like to know a few things.
is the camera quality improved?
does it still have the wm player 10?
and does it still have the zip
software?
and does the bluetooth work perfectly?
cus blue angle had lot of crackling in the bluetooth.
please share you're experience with us about the upgrade.

hey guys,
I hope some of you can help me out. I'm currently running a non english rom on my qtek 9090 and want to update it to an english one.
I'd like this to be as painless as possible. I also dont want any operator specific roms, just something generic with latest bluetooth and radio stack.
any suggestions as to what I should use?
imate 1.40 & radio 1.13 is what I'm using on my O2 XDA2s - works well for me

thanks again for the pointers. I retrieved the files with some help on the wiki and updated to 1.40.
all thats left is the radio update
Hi, I'm looking for the newest GER Rom for my Universal. At the moment I usw 1.20.34 GER with Radio 1.06. Has someone a download link for the newest GER Rom for me? Jwrightmcps 1.31.79 is only avaible in WWE at the moment But I still kepp the hope heÄll release a GER one

i´ve read much about updating ROM on my universal within the last few weeks...
i figured out - for me personally - the qtek ROM (1.3x.xx) is the one i want.
do you know if its possible to flash a t-mobile branded one with a qtek ROM or will i get into deep trouble?!

Hi!
I did it. But its a litte hard: I downloaded this app: http://buzzdev.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=65&Itemid=1 runned it on all 3 free files from the latest T-Mobile update, wrote down the Tags (Language etc) and afterwards I entered those informations into the Qtek update. So the update "beliefes" to be for a MDA pro...
I did it too I downloaded the last German version for Qtek 9000 (1.30.96) and installed it with the MaUpgradeUt_noID utility. I use the new version since 5 days now and it´s a lot more stable now and some extra features with it. I only updated the ROM and the Radio Version, not the extended Rom.

Two years ago I bought a qtek 2020i. The language was English and recently I turned it to Italian thanks to the information found on this site. Now, the PDA features are:

Many forum posts talk about a radio version 1.04. I searched it, but I haven't found it. Could anybody tell me where I can find it and if it is better than the 1.03 version?
I read about WM5 and WM6. I don't know anything about mobile operative system, only I understand that WM5 wasn't a legal copy so it was deleted from the server.
Could you tell me what are the best OS version suitable for qtek 2020i, where can I find it (if possible) and how can I install it?

In the FTP server seems that all links are removed.
In Buzzdev.net there aren't Alpine ROMs

I am new to this forum. And i just wanted to know, out of all these rom updates which rom update is most suitable and stable for my imate JASJAR. When i was younger i downloaded an update which made my JASJAR WM6 but it is sort of laggy and has slight problems with recieving calls sometimes.
So, can i please get anyone's opinions, particularly people who have experience with this or even people who own an Imate JASJAR and have updated their own device..

jasjar is the same as Dopod 900 / Qtek 9000 / SFR v1640 / Vodafone v1640 / Vodafone VPA IV / T-Mobile MDA Pro / O2 Xda Exec / Orange SPV M5000 / Grundig GR980 / E-Plus PDA IV. So yes you are in the right section

Hi again
i have loaded the rom onto my Uni, synced all the contacts etc. BUT when i activate pin number, it says type in your pin number. I typed it in, (ie the pin number i used b4 rom update), but it doesnt recognise it.
Does this mean, there is a problem or has the pin number gone back to default?????
