Yes, you just need a cheap adapter. But you can't use the phone with the adapter plugged in.

No. it uses 2.5mm jack.
You can buy it easily in China, hong kong and taiwan.

On the G1 we did not have an option for a 3.5mm Headphone/speaker without using the adapter with built in speaker.
Now the EVO has both a 3.5mm Jack and a standard Micro USB Jack. When I tried to play music through my car stereo, the 3.5mm Jack on my double sided 3.5mm Jack cancels out the speaker, so I can't use the speaker on the phone.
I know it sounds complicated, but for normal talking, can I use the 3.5mm Jack with a standard Headset?
And for the car, would I need a special 3.5mm ---> 3.5mm (with built in speaker?) or do I use another MicroUSB--->3.5mm Adapter.

I have an Evo and a stock car stereo ('08 f150). How can I play music and stream Pandora from the Evo through the car stereo wirelessly? Is there a product I can buy to hook up to the car stereo? Bluetooth?
Thanks
buy an fm transmitter. it plugs into the headphone jack and transmits to a freq on your radio.
Some models of that year had it, but if it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, you can switch your radio to aux and then plug in to the evo and play that way. Or buy a cassette player adapter with the headphone jack and do the same thing, if you have a cassette player.
You can do what others have stated and or you can buy a bluetooth car stereo and sync your EVO to it.

Any of the ways the other guys said will work great, especially like teh roxx said, if your stereo has a 3.5mm input auxillary port. Thats the easiest. Here is a link to a product that i heard works well, but haven't tried it. I was planning on buying it for my company work van, but then I got laid off, (damnit!), so have no more work van! I am curious about this product though, it looks decent.

Do they work with the Xperia Arc?
Apple earbuds with microphone don't work with my phone, so I ask this question before ruining 60 bucks. If they don't work, are there any adapters available to make them work?
Thanks

Yes use a simple extension jack (20cm) ,or jack adapter (jackmâle 3.5 mm / jack femelle 3.5 mm)
the fault is from microphone.
So just a small stereo extension cable? Thanks!

Yes, personnaly I use a double jack, but is same.
You can use all buttons and so if you buy a CTIA to OMTP adapter, which will not cost you that much.

Is this possible to connect my device to car usb and play audio through the car stereo. I have tried all options after connecting the USB but it just doesn't work?

What input options do you have on your car stereo? G7 output options are bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and usb-c.
Usb in cars are for charging, and some work for media files like mp3...

No, the quad dac is for the 3.5mm jack only. Apparently the only way your car can input audio is over bluetooth and presumably FM too (although there are FM transmitters the quality is average due to the low bandwith of the radiowave , it's only meant for news and music as a free service). I recomment you to buy an aftermarket car audio unit, for example Alpine makes very good units.

Cant buy an aftermarket unit since most of the car controls are access through the headunit. I thought there was a way to make the phone's hdd or external sdcard show up as usb mass storage so you can play files from there so you dont have to carry usb thumb drive all the time. Was able to do this with the older oneplus5
First time owning a phone with no audio jack.
Any recommended USB-C to Audio Jack adaptor?
Currently using Apple's earpods as my earphone on my OP5.
I don't really mind that the intended functions of the earphone buttons don't work when connected to an Android device.
As long as the sounds is very good and the mic works, it's fine for me.
Thanks in advance.
