I have problem with latest IMate Rom, dont connection MSN and internet viaBluetooth.
Its problem with Rom or JASJAR or I don’t know something change in setup.

PPPoE client for Windows Mobile 2003/PocketPC 2002
This post is a bit old, but I've been very suprised at the complete lack of information on PocketPC PPPoE support on the net...
In any case, there is a Japanese version of a PPPoE connector, but it only supports Windows Mobile 2003 and PocketPC 2002 (not WM5, unfortunately.)

Install via ActiveSync. Note: this is a Japanese application and I have no idea what it will look like on a phone without the proper language packs. If I had anything but my X01HT (HTC Hermes, WM5) I would test and send screenshots
I tried installing the WM2003 version on my Hermes, but it checks the OS version and aborts the install. My guess is that it probably -would- work on WM5, but... <sigh
Any coders willing to tackle this? NTT's "Flets Spot" service in Japan requires PPPoE to connect to a hotspot. Ridiculous, I know, but unavoidable. I've asked NTT as to when/if they'll make a WM5 version of this tool, but no replies yet.

I suggest You to buy a wi-fi router.
With it in my home I connect at same time 2 notebooks and the 9090.
Router has the ppp settings for connect to dsl without any PppoE protocol
I have installed black 2.5 last week and am happy with it. I'll wait for 3.5 before I upgrade again.
But, I do have a problem/question. My TyTn keeps connecting to GPRS/UMTS while NO internetprograms are running. I have none connection as always on selected in HTWeakC.
I do not want drain my battery so quick, so I want my TyTn to connect to UMTS/GPRS when I want it too, so does anyone has an idea/soluation?

After months of working fine, activesync now insists on starting GPRS when connected via cable to my laptop
Any ideas how I can stop GPRS starting ?
Please check if this option is deactivated... don't know how it's called in english 'cause i you german WinXP

GPRS auto connect problem
Mostly GPRS starts automatically when some program requests internet connection. Please can you try to identify which program is calling GPRS or try removing any recently installed software.

I just upgraded my Hermes ATT 8525 from WM5 to the following WM6 version which I downloaded off of rapidshare site:

Everything is working great, the upgrade was smooth and I was able to get all my data back and all that except for the WIFI connection.
I am able to connect to my Home Wireless Secured Network (SSID), and it shows that it is connected and has almost all the green bars showing excellent signal quality, but when I try to use Messenger or Internet explorer, it doesnt work. I am not sure why? Is it trying to connect using GPRS or cingulars Internet connection? If so, how do I fix it so that It connects using my home wireless connection. I do not subscribe to ATT/Cingulars Internet data plan etc,...
