Is there a working HTC CallerID version here somewhere? I have tried All WM5 versions but every time I get "database initialization error...." and the program never starts! On WM2003 it works like a charm!

I own HTC TyTN. I've upgraded to the official HTC WM6 downloaded from your site. since then I cannot pair any device I have made by Globalsat.GPS BT-308 and Headset BTH-818. Before the upgrade it worked fine. It gives an error when trying to pair.Is there any way to fix this problem?

I have the EXACT same problem, but mine is a BT-338!
I was on Schaps 3.54 and just went to 4.0 lite and it keeps failing the passcode (0000)
Anyone have any ideas??

Just had the same problem with Schaps V4.0 Final
installed his new extended rom then did a hard reset - seems perfect now
Bit of a pain as you have to set everything back up again
Where can I find the extended rom. I've Schaps 3.57a and 4.00 also upgraded the radio to 1.50.00.00 but nothing seems to help.
Reinstall of the original rom from HTC fixed the problem!
If you want to install the HTC Home plugin, but have Windows Mobile 5, you can download V1.5 from here: http://rapidshare.com/files/78660237/htchomewm56tab.zip. It will only work on WM5 devices. Make sure to perform a soft reset after installing it. I tried it on my HTC Titan and it worked fine

at last... I've tried *almost all versions of "htc home plugin" on i-mate k-jam and finally is working
I installed HTC Home to my wife's P3300 (Artemis) and otherwise it's working quite OK but I still have the following problems:
1) quick dial -option is not working. I cannot enter/choose any phonenumbers to it.
2) weather forecast function is not working
3) quick launch doesn't work, except for comm. manager. If I'm trying to add programs to quick launch, the only program I'm able to add is the file explorer. And even that one doesn't work after tapping its icon...
So what to do? I've tried several different versions: v.2.0.814.722, v.2.1.1005.722 and v.1.89.... something. Every time same damn thing: those ones mentioned above won't work...
So what to do next in order to get HTC Home to work completely?

Hi, i think htc home is region sensible.
i had the same probleme I instaled the french version and it solved the probleme.

Yeah, that must be the reason why it's not working in Finnish WM6 (country code tweaked to English since it's installed to English language phone).
OK, is there a way to tweak the country code of HTC Home in order to get it work in almost every WM6 version? I'd like to know that...
Hello everybody, I put 3-4 newer roms on my tytn, and none of them functions good with skype.
when i put official 6.0 from htc everything is ok!
tried to solve it a2dptwaeker but it doesn't help.
skype is very important to mu. any idea?
Which version of Skype are you trying?
If I recall correctly, they broke Skype for the Hermes when they 'improved' it, and only one of the old beta versions would work.
Maybe you want to give Fring a try? Its much more lightwight than the Skype app.

Just picked one up on eBay, but it won't work with my Kaiser (Tilt flavor). Mine didn't come with drivers and I'm having no luck finding any on the net. Any one know where I can find them or can attach to this thread?

Have you tried the HTC site? I just registered and found the drivers for that remote on my device (p3600i).

No luck. I can't find it on the HTC sites on which I'm registered. With a US phone, I'm not able to register on the APAC site (presumably where you pulled yours). Can you post?
RC-E100 doesn't work

I've got a XDA Star - the O2-version of the htc touch dual.
The standard ROM didn't support the RC-E100.
So I did a upgrade to Niki Project Rom Editor v2.1.3, and the controller worked well.
After a few days it didn't work anymore. And I installed the ROM from HTC with WM6.1. But I've still the problem.
When I plug the cable there is for one second the sound in the headphones, and then the phone uses the own speaker again.
There is no error-message.
I tried to install the driver from the cd which is given with the RC-E100, but the installer says there is already the driver on the phone.
Maybe reinstalling of the driver will help...

i cannot solve it either , got an htc touch blackstone and first the device is not supported ,
the driver seems allready excist !?!

I already checked 10 roms and many driver configurations.
My hermes still couldnt see RC - e100 and only use internal speakers.
No solution on HTC, no solution on this forum.

how 2 make it work with my HTC S620 (Excalibur) with WM6.1ROM from Kanava? driver not installed by defualt, manual install of Y-cable_E1_070316.CAB didn't work 2. it's working at all? and can it be work with HTC MAX 4G?
Hm, I've got the Dopod version (S100 if I'm not mistaken), didn't work on my Hermes (TyTN) but works perfectly fine on my Raphael (Touch Pro).

Found these in my quest for drivers; the first file is the actual driver disk and the other is the extracted CAB files found in the ActiveSync folder.
You still need to have the actual headset.

Btw, the file "http://rapidshare.com/files/203258437/HTC_Apps.zip" seems to contain the InstallShield cab files and are supposed to be installed from your pc and not from the phone.

I had similar problems... have you tried any of the alternative roms?
A lot do work very well with the wired remote...
