Qtek 9000 and Extended Rom - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Software Upgrading

Hi to the list,
since i upgraded my Italian Qtek 9000 i am having problem installing programs in the extended Rom.
Before i upgraded it, i had 5 programs which they will be autoinstalled after an Hard reset.
Now after i upgraded the Qtek 9000 i have opened the Extended Rom and copied inside the forlder the 5 programs but when i make a soft reset the 5 files disappears from the Extended Rom.
Any body can tell me why this?
Any help to solve it?
Also can anybody tell me what are for the programs called:
Default_Signed_AbleSecurity.cab
Default_Signed_DisableSecurity.cab
I use them in the Rom before i upgraded it
Thanks.

MDA pro modding roms

Is it possible to get the JasJar base rom without the imate mail service and to have it use the mda pro ext rom, so we can have a modified MDA pro with all the JasJar updates? And still have it exactly like the MDA pro was?
Sure!
Install the imate rom then after the setupmenu do a softreset (It will not install the extended rom of the Imate) But with each hardreset you have to do a reset before it installs the imate extended rom!. Then download the extended romfiles of the MDA-pro and install them.
Good luck
You can search for it in the forum
I tried that, but that still gives me the Imate splashscreen and the normal t-mobile functions of the mda pro still do not work with that
which bits of t-mobile don't work properly? did you get the UK MDA pro ext rom, or the NL?
I am thinking of doing this, as logically this should all work, but it doesn't appear to have done so for you.

BACKUP from contacts list in Qtek 9000

yesterday i bought the Qtek 9000 universal, italian edition. before, i had got the Qtek 9090. in my new Qtek 9000 Universal i haven't found the "BACKUP" software, like in the old Qtek 9090, with old windows mobile operating system. Does anybody knows how to backup (in order to save) the contact list, in a SD card, from the new Qtek 9000 Universal ? Thanks in advance for answers
just sync with outlook to backup the contacts list, no inbuilt backup anymore, dont really need it with the almighty persistant ram
sorry for my ignorance. what does it means "persistent RAM" ? will it not deleted after hard reset, maybe ? many thanks
Hi..
Yes, not deleted the contacts list.

AKU3.2 Rom for QTEK 9000 only?

Hi all,
I tried the JasJar-AKU3.2-Rom on my Qtek but was qiuet annoyed by the "non-Qtek" things like spash screen, software that came with it. Does anybody have knowledge about an AKU3.2 especially for the Qtek 9000? I know it's virtually the same machine like the JasJar, but I would like to have the ROM for the Qtek not the one for the JasJar. Or has Qtek released something and if so where can it be downloaded?
Thanks.
The version you installed is not an official from i-mate as it doesn't exist, but cooked by 'Jwrightmcps' (I guess).
Qtek also doesn't have an AKU3.2 Rom (no official Roms yet).
The only thing you can do, is change the splash by your own and custom ExtROM to remove some JasJar apps you don't like (unless they are built in ROM instead of ExtROM).
