Hi all,
I tried the JasJar-AKU3.2-Rom on my Qtek but was qiuet annoyed by the "non-Qtek" things like spash screen, software that came with it. Does anybody have knowledge about an AKU3.2 especially for the Qtek 9000? I know it's virtually the same machine like the JasJar, but I would like to have the ROM for the Qtek not the one for the JasJar. Or has Qtek released something and if so where can it be downloaded?
Thanks.
The version you installed is not an official from i-mate as it doesn't exist, but cooked by 'Jwrightmcps' (I guess).
Qtek also doesn't have an AKU3.2 Rom (no official Roms yet).
The only thing you can do, is change the splash by your own and custom ExtROM to remove some JasJar apps you don't like (unless they are built in ROM instead of ExtROM).

Has anyone tryed both rom, I have the imate rom installed on my XdaIIi,
Want to know if the O2 rom will be a better option over the imate one...
Any Suggestion will be appreciated ..
Well, yes I say its quicker amnd more stable than the imate rom.
Althought the RADIO rom is not as high so I left the imate radio on my 2i and just upgraded the extended rom and the rom.
I say its a worth while upgrade.

How do you get the radio rom (imate) on the O2 rom?
did you just copy the radio_.nbf from the imate rom and paste it into the o2 rom folder??
also can you remove the o2 activeUI from the upgraded rom, as i found it pretty usless on the old rom,
Thanks
Yes just copy the radio rom file over the o2 one and replace it from the imate radio.
Yes the o2 active is still the same, although this time it seems much faster and a lot moer stable. It can be removed in the same way tho.

Hi,
Where did you find the radio_.nbf???I couldn't find it.
Hi to you all,
The FTP holds a perfect Dutch Qtek 9100 ROM, but is there also a Dutch Qtek 9000 ROM available? I browsed the FTP for a while, but I don't really think it's there.
Maybe I should ask: does a Dutch Qtek 9000 ROM even exist??
Thank you!!!
i don,t think there is 1 yet
I asked the distributor today and nope, there is no Dutch release of the Qtek 9000 ROM, due to insufficient request.
Unfortunately there are not even plans in releasing the Dutch version.

If you see the gapes in the dutch Rom of the 9100 its better to stay with the WWE.
Although my desktop has a Dutch Windows XP running, I got used to an MDA in English in no time, just see them as two different things.
On tweakers.net is someone saying there will be a dutch T-mobile ROM in februari. hopefully (i don't know) this ROM has also AKU2.
Tmobile told me that there will be a dutch version for the MDA Pro, availleble in march and including MSN
Hi,
I know everyone seems to be upgrading to other new rom upgrades for Qtek 9000 but I am wondering if anyone came across the new Qtek 9000 WWE rom from one of the european FTP sites for Qtek?
Gilbert
They are not interesterd in customer care that's why still their update is pending
What is the difference between:
JASJAR_WWE_13076_164_10900_wwe_ship.exe
and
UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE_Ship.exe
Besides the provider who deliverd the ROM.
Which ROM do you have running right now, and which is better?
qtek
qtek defenetly faster then the imate
That Qtek supports A2DP and AKU2. So it's the most complete ROM at the moment.

Hi there.
First of all, i want to know if it is possible to upgrade my Qtek S200 from WM5 to WM6.
In case this is possible, can anyone tell me where i can find WM6 image files in European Portuguese (PTG)?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I'm searching for an Official and unbranded ROM.

you may have to do the translation if you want it in your own language yourself
There is no, and never will be an official WM 6 ROM for Prophet / Jamin / S200 (all same phone).
Not branded and not unbranded.
HTC decided not to make one supposedly because they consider the device too old.
If you do not wish to chance a cooked ROM stay with what you have.
