I just upgraded my EXEC to the latest ROM, now my GPRS will connect for a second or two then just disconnect, when I try to manually reconnect it tells me to disconnect the current call to connect, the problem is I don't have a call active. If I soft reset I can connect for another few seconds.
Any ideas?

Hi everybody,
when I try to connect my laptop to the internet using my SX66 and bluetooth, one of the following happens:
1) If gprs is already connected on the SX66, my laptop comes back and says 'phone is busy'.
2) If gprs is not connected, then I get a DUN connection, but no network connectivity. Connecting gprs then disconnects the DUN.
Is there a solution for this annoying crap? My old SE T616 let me DUN with my laptop just fine.
Could wiring the laptop to the SX66 with activesync, and some 3rd party app solve the problem?
thanks, I appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Also, could someone who has NOT applied the latest Siemens patch tell me if they get they same behavior?
update
Since I got the SX66, I've noticed the following bug.
The GPRS symbol appears in white briefly when I start up the phone, and then disappears.
If I connect using GPRS, then I get a black symbol which seems to stay after I've disconnected.
IF I try DUN when there is a disconnected, lingering black GPRS symbol it works. But if I actually connect GPRS, then it hangs up the DUN.
??????
Now I have a working solution. Before using Bluetooth DUN, connect and disconnect GPRS.
Out of curiosity, is this business unique to the SX66, or common across the Blueangel platform?

Hi

Dhruv
Disconnecting GPRS is easy: Just press the red/hang on button on your phone for a couple of seconds. You will see the connection will be closed.
...I have just upgraded to T-Mobile 1.42 and decided to subscribe to T-Mobile UK's Instant Email using Blackberry Connect. This of course uses GPRS and works perfectly wherever I go.
At work, however, I often leave my phone cradled. When I 'sync-up' to the PC, I lose my GPRS connection, and forcing a connect drops the ActiveSync connection. As such, Instant E-Mail stops working.
Some may argue that if I am synced up, I instantly get all my e-mails through the cable anyways, but in fact I also get personal e-mails via Instant Email.
1) Is the disconnecting normal behaviour?
2) Is there any way of keeping a GPRS connection whilst ActiveSyncing?
3) If not, is there any other way of using BB Connect in this state?
Regards,
Darren
disconnecting is normal behaviour - I have not found a way to avoid it
Hi!!!
It´s normal, you only have one chance, sync or GPRS.........if you want to conect by GPRS while your PDA is in the cradle you sholud disable USB conection on active sync
PD:excuse me for me english
Hello,
I have an issue with my TyTN that's been bugging me for some time. I've searched the forum with no avail.
Everytime I connect to my college's wireless network using PEAP authentication (WPA2), the wireless connection is dropped after a couple of minutes. From then on, I can't connect to any wireless network (the list of available wireless networks is empty even though there are access points around me). I have to soft reset to get it working again. I never have this problem with my router at home. The problem is reproduced both using then newest WM6 ROM from HTC and the i-mate/Telstra WM6 ROM.
Anyone can help?
