I broke my screen of a XDAIIS and had replace it
but it seems that is not working properly It sounds, sincro but the screen is all white
I cannot use it
can somebody help me

I've got the same problem, did you ever fix it? I've triple checked all the connections, and I used my anti static mat and wrist strap while I was working, so I shouldn't have done any damage from ESD.
My replacement screen was very slightly different, but the part number is the same, and the connectors are the same.

I havent replaced my screen, but it went white one day without any warning.
So annoying.

so wht ull did ?
So than wht u guys have done ?
i have the same problem..... i opened the whole peice n checked...
upon checkin i came to knw there was a small crack on the strip tht goes on between the slider... the one tht joins the display and the main board...
i dont knw wht to do now.....
somebody plz help...

it seems like a common BA problem. My BA's screen also became white after replacing the housing...It is definitely a broken screen??

Touchscreen not working

Hello, I am having serious issues with the touchscreen of my BA.
The screen part is kind os loose, it moves slightly sideways.
I have no idea if the two things are connected, the touchscreen also does not work properly, as it randomly does not detect taps.
I have noticed that if I press for a bit the sides of the screen down onto the back of the BA, it works better for a while.
Do you guys have any clue on what the issue could be and how to solve it?
I myself have the idea that some tap detecting thing behind the screen has detached from the screen itself, and that I have to open it to fix it. Am I wrong?
Up.
Anybody who can give some advise before I take it to assistence?
unfortunatly
i have the same issue...and everybody is telling me i need new screen ..if u get a solution... i'd be grateful if u tell me.thnx alot
Hi, I have disassembled it, trying to understand something, but really nothing happened, I can't pretend much since i am not an expert. i have no clue, that is why i am about to take it to the shop and get it fixed. damn it.
hi..
saw this in another site..hope it helps..
"Are you using a screen protector that has got under the case or could there be a bit of detritus between the screen and the case? These cause pressure on the digitizer making it unable to register taps.
Take off the screen protector and see if any improvement. Fold a piece from a sheet of copier paper at the corner to make a scoop and go around the edge of your digitizer just under the case."

DASH Screen Problem GRAY BAR AT TOP PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

So, I pulled my Dash out of my pocket today, and found that the top 1/3 of the LCD is grey!!! It's only the top third, the rest of the screen is fine. It's almost like the screen is foggy on top, where you can see the icons but its grey. Please please please help me what should i do???
NOTE: I reflashed it with TMOBILE's ROMS and HTC's, and no change. PLEASE GIVE ME ANY ADVICE YOU HAVE AS TO THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM AND SOLUTIONS!!!! THANKS!!!
I work with LCD's and it sounds like the LCD has cracked, it will only take a hairline crack but if the crack has gone thru one of the tracks etched into the glass you will need a new LCD. You can get a new one on Ebay and I am sure you will be able to find some instruction on how to fit a new LCD if you Google it.
Fair enough. Isn't it possible that the ribbon connector is just loose? It's like a perfect 1/3rd of the screen, which makes me wonder if it's really something like a crack. Is that still possible? For example, when i reflashed it, the top bar of the bootloader (red) was perfectly the only part that was grey...
Dude, the screen is messed up. What do you want us to do about it ? There's any magical software fixes or advice we can give you. Either take the phone apart and see what's wrong (if you're technically inclined).. or get another phone!
So it's for sure the LCD?

That certainly looks like a faulty LCD to me
yup. i just sent mine back a few months ago for the same problem.

i-mate jasjar LCD cracked and leaked (model : acx526akm-7)

hey fellas. my fone went thru tuff times still its lcd never cracked o wateva even fell off from my hand a couple o times earlier. but sum how it broke yesterday during a call wen it slipped off. and wen i cheked it out my lcd was cracked and it leaked.. the touch screen functions but the display being messed with leakage. m guessing i have to replace the LCD i did a lil search n found rbay selling the lcd display off(below is the link):
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LCD-Touch-Scr...temQQimsxZ20090104?IMSfp=TL090104112001r36390
so shud i go ahead n buy it ? is it the real thing i mean n i can disemble my ppc n intall the lcd ryt away? i need an openion on this n if this is not the ryt lcd plz direct me to a link that offers jus the lcd unit .. so it b cheaper for me .
I somehow don't think you can get away with just a digitizer replacement. Your link shows a touch screen only, which is good for replacing the screen layer responsible for the touch function. The screen consists of 2 parts - the LCD screen itself and a digitizer. You mention your screen leaked, that indicates your entire screen is broken, therefore you will need the entire screen AND a digitizer replaced. Best done in one unit. Something like this http://cnn.cn/shop/dopod-d900-screen-p-1841.html
i believe "acx526akm-7" is the part i need to b searchin of . do u know any place i can get a cheap quote on this part as it seems to b kindda costly..
I already told you what you need. The LCD and a digitizer of that size ARE costly, still, some can be even costlier. Getting an LCD and attempting to attach a digitizer will be costlier, because you can't do it yourself. The part number will still point you in the direction of LCD replacement. Another option would be buying a broken unit and pulling a working LCD.
I can sell you my uni, You'll get the whole unit and the screen was fine when the USB broke, You'd be benefitting yourself, Enigma and myself.

Pink vertical line all over the screen

I have a pink vertical line of one pixel width all over the whole height of my screen. Has anyone had this issue? I tried soft and hard reset, but nothing worked. I fear, I have a screen error. So has anyone tried these chinese screen replacements, like this one?

Have you tried chinese screens for htc phones or what do you mean by chinese stuff?
I'm still not sure, if it's really a screen failure. Can anyone acknowledge this?
i have used chinese screens on other htc phones and they dont last good...can yu post a screenshot of your phone
Unfortunately the phone lies now in pieces in front of me, so I can't take a picture of it right now.
I tried to locate the problem myself, tought it would be a loose cabel or something. I lost my guarantee anyway, because I had opened it before, to clean some really nasty iron dust from the speakers, which sounded really crappy This was a leftover from the previous owner of the mobile.
Does anyone know a vendor that sells original htc lcd screen and touch digitizer? How much would the price be?

No Display after dropping phone

Hi,
Unfortunately for me i dropped my phone and cracked my tempered glass in several places. gladly the screen underneath was perfectly fine after drop however, it has developed a fault as the screen won't turn on at all. I tried turning it off and restarting and although i can hear the boot up logo sound i see no picture at all. i can receive calls but cannot answer due to screen not displaying.
The screen had four main pressure cracks.... one is top left, one on the ear speaker, one bottom middle and one bottom left of phone. hopefully you can see it in picture.
Can you give advice on what to try or do to resolve this? will i need a new screen or disassemble to see what the issue is?
I've only had the phone for 2/3 months at most
Thanks in advance
looks like i will answer my own question....
i bought a replacement lcd & digitiser, one complete unit and swapped the necessary components over to new screen. all is working and good. not sure if the screen is repairable but there are other parts inside this screen worth selling on. it still has a non cracked immaculate screen along with the charging port and other stuff inside old screen.
at a cost of £70, i consider this an expensive fix
Thanks for the input kakawak
cheers
