Seems like the FTP site for Blueangel is not working?
I don't seem to have that problem. Was on the site today to move files.
It is working again for me thanks

Even if PhoneAlarm has it in one of the profiles to active radio for wireless LAN, it does not do it on my BA.
Does anybody have the same problem?
Is there a fix for this?
Many thanks for your help. :?:
Probably should be answered over at Pocketmax but here goes anyway ...
If you look on the Pocketmax site you should find somewhere mentioned that the WiFi section is still not complete (Think it says it on the config section in PhoneAlarm). I found an old v1.21 beta 4 worked OK on my BA but recent versions have stopped working.
The author is on holiday at present but think he is looking at this problem.
Thanks for the feedback, will look into this further.
I use IBM T42 laptop. I was able to connect in the old way with WM5 but now it does not work anymore and somehow the laptop does not get to the internet once I plug in the WM Hermes. I use Black 1.2 edition ROM but I believe that there is a problem with my laptop as I also tried a WM6 Tornado and asus P526 with the same results.
I tried searching here and in google, no info.

Hi Guys,
I've done some searching of this forum, and can't find anything relating to Tom Tom Go 300's here - so I figure it's safe to post this
I've upgraded to WM6, and everything works wonderfully, but for one thing...
I've a TomTomGo 300 Portable SatNav device, and it doesn't seem to want to work with WM6 - any reasons why? Anything I do to fix it?
When I try and pair the phone and the TTG, it finds the phone - but then comes up with something about there being no required services on the phone. Is this because we don't have DUN on WM6?
Any help/suggestions/abuse appreciated!
Ta!
Matt

hope you get it running soon as you atleast need a TT to find your way '-)
Bah! I thought I'd seen it somewhere but couldn't for the life of me find it.
Will follow that thread then!
Thanks!
Matt
Which TomTom are you using?
Instead of starting a new thread, I'll keep using this regarding navigation options.
I have a Cingular 8525 with the VP3G LSVW rom. Since I've read other threads that the internal GPS chip in the TyTN is hopelessly disabled, I'm wondering what type of TomTom software + gps device is everyone else using? I'm thinking that there is something that can connect via BT or emu to my device that will provide the gps portion and then I can just install software.
Please post what you have and links to products would be even better!
I need help accessing my shared folders on my LAN when connected to my router via Wifi.
I can access the internet in IE from my Artemis but cannot access folders on my PC!
I'm sure with my old Alpine (which died and was replaced by O2 with the Artemis) I was able to do this by simply browsing the local IP - I definately could use remote desktop.
I want to be able to open files residing on my PC from my PPC but can't find any apps. When trying to do it in IE I get an error saying "The network path was not found." ( I put \\192.168.11.2\c$ in the browser)
Please can someone tell me what I'm not doing or doing wrong? If it's simply security/authentication configuration I need to sort out, please can someone write me a basic tutorial?
Thanking all in advance,
a desperate PPC enthusiast

Try Resco Explorer. It can access to shared folders on PC.
Or try the network plugin from HTC. Is included in almost all ROMs
many thanks guys, I downloaded Resco Explorer... looks good
If anyone else needs the network plugin, I found one thanks to the others advice at
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-network-folder-plugin-v1-0.html
cheers again for a job well done!

I had a bit of an issue trying to get this working too, but now i have it sorted and i have acces to my entire home network via my Orbit, its great. The best way I find is to make sure you have turned on file and printer sharing , added permission for "Full Control" for "Everyone" on the folder/file you want to share, install the HTC Network Plugin and finally you can use either standard folder (if you make network folder visible using HTC Network Plugin) , or use Resco Explorer (which I recommend as its very good). I have HTC Network plugin and Resco Explorer if ya need them.
I haven't found htc network plugin so if you can make it available, I'm sure it would help me and others with the same requirements.... many, many thanks for your input friend.
