I have a backup of a rom ESN of qtek 2020i copied in a sd 256mb and downloaded by ftp.
I modify the first 416b (lines 000h to 0190h) extract the rom to my sd 512mb, start my pda, in mode bootloader, the pda install the rom, but it does not work
Is it possible that that the problem is that I use a sd 512mb instead of a sd 256mb?.
Please, help me.
Thank you.

Hi,
I have my O2 mini flash to big storage, I have dum the BigStorage ROM into the SD card, but when i do the last thing to flash the ROM into my O2mini in the boot mode, it come up a message:
SD Download

update!
How can I flash the ROM into my O2mini using the SD card ?
Or how can I flash the ROM using USB cable?
Many Thanks
Hi,
Tried this rom, but file size mismatch (rom is only 41MB).
Read somewhere you have to flash this from SD card.
But : now almost everyone works with SDHC cards, and for all the roms that we flash, we have to pull out the SDHC card or flashing does not work.
Any other methods to flash this rom without card in it ?
Thanks,
Innovator
I've been asking the same question, but nobody answered.
I wish I could have this mini ROM.
Would appreciate all helps.
No other possibility....
... as far as I know. Either via activesync or via a non-sdhc card. Don't you have a "forgotten" sd-card in another phone?
Even the smallest card (from 64 mb or more) will do.
Good luck!
HJ
it gives " invalid certificate" error while trying to flash from SD card
any solutions to this prob..
much appreciated.
I flash this ROM using 2GB SD Card.
Your Device it should be Hard SPL first.
I flash this ROM using an old 2GB SD Card. Took few minutes and its done.
OK. Have a Dell X51V. Tyring to download some of the updated ROMs. I've downloaded a couple ROMs but can't seem to load them. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. This ois what I'm doing:
Download ROM
Unzip to folder
format 512 MB SD card (fat32)
copy zip contents (.nb0 and .crc) to root of SD card
insert SD card into PDA
wireless button + power button + reset
I see the ROM loader screen (SD Image Update A10_G4) but I do not see a list of available ROMs to pick from so I can't load any of them...
Anyone have an idea?
| have exactly the same problem. Can anyone help please?
Sounds like you're doing everything correctly. All I can suggest is to try using another SD Card (but stay away from SDHC - they won't work).
Hi, first of all I apologize for may bad English.
Well, I installed Froyo on my O2 (my storage) using Ubuntu. The problem is that Froyo doesn't recognise my sd card.
I tried to change two files (init.rc and vold.fstab) but nothing is changed.
I installed Froyo without the sd card inserted.
I formatted the sd card (FAT32).
When I remove the sd card the program recognise this operation. But when I install the sd card Froyo doesn't recognize it.
I hope that you can undestand me.
Thanks a lot
