Car Charger - General Accessories

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the output is for the standard Xda II Car charger in Volts and Amps?
I know the UK mains charger is 5V at 2A and was wondering if the car charger is the same.
Thanks for your help.

charging a MDA PRO with a 2000mA car charger?

hi all,
Will it harm my MDA PRO (battery) if I use a 2000mA car charger instead of a 1000mA?
The voltage of the car chargers are the same.
amps are not something which are forced into a device
a == volt/ohm
you could connect a charger with 200000 Mega amps
and it would not matter
the amps is just a measurement of what can max be drawn out of the charger
If you can the thing to charge with a car charger at all good luck.
I have had a hell of a time trying to find a charger that works here in the US. Wall chargers and via USB charges fine. All the chargers i find for Blackberry, Razor etc that use a 5 pin mini USB connection dont seem to work. Or at least not well..

2A USB car charger??

Hi,
After switching from 1A to 2A wall USB chargers I've never looked back.
Now i am looking for a USB car charger which can output 2A for under $10.
I found a few on ebay but they have 2 USB output with combined 2A output (1A per USB port).
I am looking for one with only 1 USB port with 2A output.
Let me know what others are using.
Thanks a lot guys
I've been looking off and on at one of these:
I guess I can't post links, but it is amazon item #/B00511PS3C
I have a 1a unit in the car that I use when I travel and a larger unit I use when I get to my room, not had a dire need for a 2a in the car as of yet.

Thanks for the link, but that's the problem. With 4G on my phone eats battery like crazy, that's why i am looking for a 2A charger to keep charging it while i am travelling.

Dears,
I use a 2.1A car charger, but recharge is so much slower than original AC charger that supplies 2A.
Why?
Any suggestion about the best car charger?
Thanks a lot!

It's not true. You may use a charger with 2A output but it's really enough 1A for One V. 2A charger might be useful if you will decide to use it for other devices that requires more powerful output.
No way you can reach 1A power consumption on this device, even if using navigation, bluetooth and streaming simultaneously at the brightest screen setting. And even if you plug a 2A charger, it will still draw just as much as it needs (max around 0.5A), so don't re-invent the wheel and use a factory spec charger - 1A.

Highest possible wattage for wireless car charger? All I see is 10watt. No 15watt+?

Highest possible wattage for wireless car charger? All I see is 10watt. No 15watt+?
All the wireless car chargers seems to only have 10watt for Notes, looks like 15watt for LG phones. samsung makes a 15watt wireless chargers stand so thought this would be possible for car chargers.
has anybody seen a wireless car charger that will charge a note 10 with more than 10watts?
thanks in advance

well the charger is 20watts, but it won't charge the note 10 at 20watts
so 52$ to do what a $15 charger can do
