hi guys, so glad i found this site, its great! im very interested in upgrading my xda's rom with pug's version, to remove the o2 crap etc, i have found the link, and downloaded it, but how to i get it on my xda? sorry if this has been asked a million times!

I have no idea. I don't have my mda pro yet. I've been looking up info and came across the update and figured I'd download it in advance. Good thing I did, since the site has vanished.

I got this from the site mentioned at the beginning of the thread. It was an english T-mobile site (official). The file is called tm-uk. The only thing I could find in the file itself was the version 4.1.100.1332 (don't know if that helps). Sorry, that's about it.
It is the shipped version of the ROM ... THE OLDEST ONE !

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade the ROM for O2 MINI XDA S.
I have downloaded the ftp file from ftp. Presently i have German OS installed in my xda. I want to chage it to English.
Pleasse tell me the procedure of how to upgrade the ROM. I tried to search in wiki, but it is still not available.

sorry for posting it twice..as i am new to this, i did not think of the complications
got a hermes and want to upgrade to wm6. its a vodafone badged one, but it is unlocked and i use it on o2....
what do i need to download to upgrade it? i know all the pros and cons, i downgrade psp's etc and i aint no noob!

You should be looking at elf/elfin upgrading forum here. Do not forget to read the guides before trying anything to your phone.
CAN ANYONE FIND THIS ROM 1.12.404.1 NLD?
iv been helping a friend for a week now and still no luck, its like it doesnt exist, although, i did find the rom on one site but gotta pay for the download.
he also mentioned ''Gold Card'' im not sure what this is but if anyone knows what to do and wouldnt mind giving me a link or step by step tutorial, this would be a great help.lol

as far as i know, a goldcard is nothing more then the correct rom stored on a SD-card.. it was a way for a lot of commercial people to generate money for bricked devices.

you already have helped,lol i read a post this mornin, basicly what you just told me but was unsure because the post was about a differant phone, model etc..
so the only chance to get my friends artemis back to life is with the official rom..
theres plenty of people on this site, (most helpfull, some not lol) but someone out there must have the official nld rom!

You can unbrick the phone using a sd card of max. 2 Gb. Search on the formum, i don't remember the exact steps. Basicly, put the rom you want to use on the root of the card, enter the flashmode with the rainbow collored screen and choose the card. Then the flash starts.
