hi.
just got my mda III few days ago, but unfortunately it's locked to t-mobile. they said they would give me the unlock code after i've been with them for one month + £15.
has anyone discovered a way of extracting the unlock code? is it possible to disable / delete the simlock program (in windows folder) and will that make any difference?

Hi guys, i bought this device as unlocked when i put my mobile world (t-mobile) sim in it came up and said "network is locked input unlock code" i found the unlock zip file on the forum ran it and it said phone is unlocked ????? confusion set in and im still confused can anyone please help -thanks - Graham
Please state the file and the location (in this forum) which you use to in attempt to unlock your phone.
i have a tmobile mda that needs to be unlocked. i purchased a sim card from att and activated it, now all i need to do is unlock my phone.

Few days back I took a contract from T-mobile UK and want to unlock it. I thought from the forums easily I can follow the procedure and unlock my phone but it is not happening. I'm not getting the screen of service mode where i can see UMTS so that I can follow the other steps. Can anybody please tell the code to enter the service mode window so that i can try myself. It will be a real help if you can help me otherwise I'm totally screwed up.
Ok, so I purchased a used tmobile n900T which is no longer on a subscription. I want to put this phone on straight talk, this is what I have done so far:
1: Rooted using towel root
Attempted to unlock using the method explained here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2471742
I did everything exactly as explained in the directions, but when I boot up using the AT&T Straight talk card, it asks me for a sim unlock code....
I went to one of the sim unlock websites: cellunlocker.net and the instructions told me I had to have the note 3 on a tmobile plan before I can get the unlock code?
any suggestions? thank you for your help.

As far as I know you do not need to be on a T-Mobile plan to get your phone unlocked. You just need the unlock code.
Is your phone region locked? If you have made a 5 min call using T-Mobile then it will be region unlocked. You just need a network unlock code.
