I have recently purchased both a JAF box and a SMART CLIP.
So far I am getting quite familiar with unlocking phones, but I cannot find anywhere to buy a tespoint cable. I would also like to know if anyone in the forum can advise me how to ground the cable when I connect to the test point on the phone.
Cheers

first, you absolutely chose the WRONG board for your question
second, AFAIK you need TP only for recent Motorola with Smart Clip.
I advise you to read the TP details on the home site http://www.smart-clip.com/
you need to register SPECIFYING YOUR RESELLER (bought on ebay = NO SUPPORT) and your smart clip connected to the same PC the same time.
if you bought a clone dongle (no LPT connection on it) then you cant use it on TP models.

check it with www.gsm-traders.com but they are located in china, so it will be only interesting for you if you are from asia somehow, otherwise the deliver costs would be too high

better save my money for updated products that supports SE Arc, the design is nice but honestly.. no speakers? what is the use of the dock without a built-in speaker? kinda feel disappointed when i saw this product in the official blog. at least SE make a dock like the ones for iPhone/iPod.

I've heard you can connect a keyboard or a mouse to the dock. Makes it REALLY nice for emailing etc!
USB OTG(On The Go) - LiveDock™ is prepared for USB OTG devices. If your phone has support for USB OTG (available in Android 2.3) then you will be able to turn your LiveDock™ to a mini PC being able to connect USB devices such as gamepad, keyboard and mouse to LiveDock™.
will this dock work on my X10?
@Khaki
unfortunetly cant be lol ! hehehe i want that thing ... but nothing here in middle east ..
i'd rather have this dock
Could anyone tell me if the chargers shipped from the UK are compatible with both types of power outlets?
The "Clover Unboxing Video" showed that the UK 3-pin "option" is clipped over a two-pin type casing ... but from the video, I could not be sure if they could be easily interchanged.
I am in Malta (which uses the 3-pin (BS1363) config [which I prefer] MOST of the time), but I often travel to Mainland Europe where the two-pin style (Europlug -- CEE7/x?) outlets dominate.
Would much appreciate any feedback!
PS .. I lovingly and studiously linked to URLs for both the video and the socket specs, but as a noob, I was not allowed external links in my comment ... No problem - I FULLY understand the reasons for this policy!
You would need the 2-pin "clipping".
Otherwise Just use a travel adapter.
I don't think it will work with a 2pin Euro clip.
have a look at the picture:

The 3rd UK pin folds out and there doesn't seem to be an option to remove it.
I don't quite understand your question, but I think you'r wondering if the wall-socket connector on the charger is easy to switch between one or the other? If so then, yes this is just a pop-on pop-off manouver. If both types of connectors come with the box, i have no idea! Hope this helps somewhat.
Edit: Regarding the picture above, the 2-pin connector should be able to slide over the third plastic pin when in a folded position.

Thanks Tim ... your picture seems to show that what I was hoping for is not possible .... So - I must remember to pack an adaptor when travelling.
Many thanks for your time and the others for replying!
The Euro clip in bit probably has a groove in it so that it fits with the UK earth pin folded down.
Galaxy Nexus has a USB charger so you can easily charge your device with a computer until you get a converter (they sell them almost everywhere) or simply another USB charger that works for you.

They are out there. A quick eBay AU search (located near Melbourne):
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OnePlus-...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item3ce05c5e25
So there must be more out there!
free postage - I highly doubt that if I would ordered it (to Germany) but yeah - something like that. Now i just have to find a less geographically challenging solution.
But thanks for the suggestion.

EverDock
There is a company called EverDock that was on KickStarter, it features a DOCK where you can switch the plug from forward or reverse, plus you can either use it for Iphone, Ipad, Android Mini USB. There is also a dock they sell that allows two devices to be charged at one time. Here is a link

Any docks made specifically for OPO?
That would be awesome. Been looking for that.
An ideal one would be made out of bamboo, and with bamboo back cover...
I really dunno if this works, but I found a suggestion in another forum: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JGRIKOQ/ there I was told this works with the OPO, too.

That one breaks really easily. I've gone through 2 already (removing the phone from the dock eventually breaks the pegs that holds the cable in place).
I ordered this one and like it so far: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009L6AHLQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Can you tell me what exactly breaks on this docking station? which pegs? why at the cable? the cable is on the backside, how does something break there when the phone is being removed?
BTW, stations for the HTC One M8 should be compatible I was told. Has anyone experiences with this?
could this be an alternative?
http://www.amazon.de/Emartbuy®-Funktion-kompatibel-Docking-Ladegerät/dp/B00KC0X98I
or such a universal usb docking station - as long as the usb plug has the right direction?
like http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00JFLV3KG/ref=nosim/andrhilfdeand-21 or http://www.ebay.de/itm/Universal-Do...e-Nexus-5-HTC-Desire-S-Desire-Z-/400802464581
Or is there more to watch out like angle of the plug or the distance to the backside?
Try this one.. It is compatible with OnePlus One.. i have been using this for the past 2 days without problem

it looks like the one from above: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JGRIKOQ/
but I am not sure: where does the phone have íts secure stand? Is the phone held by the usb connector only? My last shown examples above have a higher back, which can hold the phone very secure and protect the usb connector against the pressure when using the phone in the dock.
Check out the Lambda-Dock. The connector can be turned and its produced in germany...

Hello everyone,
This is a question to get a feel for the market and to see if it's financially valid to pursue. Many of us here are lurkers and unable to build the interface cable ourself, yes there's a video showing us how to do it, but many of us are still unwilling to build it. Here's where I come in.
I am wondering how many of you guys would be interested in buying a USB interface cable for the Moto 360 to root, unlock bootloader, etc.
I would sell it for cost price + labor costs (not too greedy) + shipping, I'll even donate to the person in the video for helping me get this far..
The video tutorial below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3a2fdTy_6A
So the question is, would you buy it? How much are you willing to pay for it?
Thanks
i am interested.
i am interested.
i am interested.
I would buy one for 20$
I might be interested if you could explain what the benefits might be?
I'm interested as well.
you should make this a poll so you can get better numbers without having to slog through a bunch of posts, just an idea also I think we can design a better one that's a little more solid than the rather flimsy pins on the CAT5 connectors.... I'd really love to have a nice setup with pogo pins and maybe even a special watch band that you can plug in a cord to or something... It would make it better and MUCH more reliable without having to remove the watch band every time.... I have a few design ideas and really I just need parts and time and maybe a few people to bounce ideas off of
is anyone selling these? my moto 360 is stuck in force close loop
I'm in for sure
I'm lazy as ****. I'm in
Another lazy person reporting in, would love to have one.
There is a company that makes cables to flash custom Chinese rom onto the moto 360.

With my current M8 I have a slide in car cradle from Fix2car. THIS one to be precise which I pair with a Brodit Proclip bracket for my Honda Civic.

. (Not my car but shows where it mounts)
This cradle sadly does not allow for cases but what I find useful is that there is no fishing around to plug the cable in the bottom as it is attached to the cradle. I then run the wire into the dashboard and it is hard wired so no unsightly cables around anywhere.
I know its early days since the phone is not released yet but has anyone heard any rumours / facts about cradles of a similar design coming out for the 10? I have seen there is a specific thread about a Brodit cradle but I don't have loyalty to a particular brand so I'm open to all makes as long as it fits my needs.
How would we know? We aren't the ones manufacturing these, ask them who do make these.
Also how would they know we want an active holder for the 10 if we're just asking each other over here.
Go and tell them that you'd like to see an active holder for the 10 > then they'll know people actually want one.
For example Brodit made an active holder for the M9, they might do one for the 10 as well.

I was going to ask fix2car but their website is under maintenance. Brodit have already been asked by someone and this is mentioned in another thread.
What point is this forum if not to share knowledge? Somebody might have already asked these questions and have the answers. Maybe they work for a company making these things? Maybe they speak Arabic and found reference on a site about an upcoming cradle for the 10? Maybe they have universal cradle 'xyz' that's great and functions just like the fix2car one I have?
This thread can serve as a place to share that knowledge for all, myself included.

Maybe if more people asked them they would get the message that there is demand for the product and reconsider supporting the HTC 10.
