i like to use this view sometimes to quickly browse through topics...not to mention the page seem to load faster.
If you go into your profile you can set it to mobile mode. Not quite as light as your example, but similar.

Hi all and sorry if this is the wrong forum. Please feel free to move elsewhere & my apologies.
I am using a rooted G1 with 1.6 and Open Home Full v3.5 and something odd has started with the picture crop tool.
I was able to download or copy / paste any picture to the sd card, open it up, crop it to the 640x480 dimensions and set as wallpaper. When I moved screens the picture would track behind.
Lately I can only choose one vertical screen width and when I move screen the picture doesn't move at all. This happens even if I have created a wallpaper with the correct dimensions.
Can't understand why this is happening. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling Open Home, using the Android Photoshop app, and just trying to set wallpaper from the menu button.
Any ideas?

I believe that I have found the problem with this issue: Open Home.
I uninstalled it again, shut down & started the phone back up and tried cropping again - it worked just fine. I was able to select a wide area not just portrait.
To clarify: if I set a theme (like Cf's Hero) it's perfect. This only happens when I'm trying to create & set a picture that I downloaded to my phone.
I've written to Open Home's creator but so far haven't heard back.
Bummer. I really like Open Home and have been using it as long as I owned my G1 but this both sucks & blows. Hoping it's an easy fix.

Is there a way to only diplay the forum categories that you'd like to view instead of the whole list everytime? I'm just thinking that this would put less stress on the server as well as save some bandwith/time.

You can hide the content of a forum (you'll have just the title of the forum) by clicking on the arrow at the right end of the title.
What I have is a bookmark folder on my browser toolbar with all my individual forums set up as a shortcut. This way I can go straight to a particular forum. Just a suggestion

New here so please be kind and don't swear at me for not searching properly but is there an app or setting that will keep a web page from resizing when browsing from link to link.
Eg While reading a page here on my Desire, I resize the page so i can read it properly but when i click a different link, it resizes back to small, so i have to pinch the screen to enlarge it again.
Is it possible to keep the same size while browsing?

Thx merc, I would have never found that.
Default Zoom in Settingns changed to "Close" also make the page bigger straight away.
Thx again, great for old farts like me that cant read the screen when it's so small.

every browser behaves differently.
small forums are functioning properly.
My idea is: Please continue to improve the Windows Phone the interface and see the Windows by RT!

TBH, I like you ideas, but it should be more fits if it is in a Hub, but start screen, no thanks. It is a mess and cluttered IMO.
