Moving My Docs To Storage Card

Now I have a working M2000 and a 1gig SD card, I'd like to move My Docs onto the card, so I can boost the internal memory for programs.
I've created a folder on the card and removed the "ignore my docs" file, as well as resetting (I think) every program to save to the card ... but ... how do I (assuming I can) get ActiveSync to forget the old directory and syncronise files with the new folder on the storage card?

[Q] sd card format question

Hi,
So I read the instruction about formatting SD Card to run Froyo X. If I have a gps app on storage card for windows mobile, should I buy another SD card to run Android or do I need to create a partition for windows storage card for apps and another partition for Android? I have a 8gb kingston micro sd at the moment. Any help is appreciated.

I have iGO as well a sa bunch of WM apps installed to my SD card as well. Here is what I do, works like a charm every time, all WM6 apps still function...
Delete ANDBOOT folder on the card
I just create an empty folder on my PC called "SD"
Go to the root of the card, select all, CUT
PASTE on the pc folder called "SD"
When the move is finished, I do a full format using the SD Formatter tool:

Put the new ANDBOOT on the card
Cut/Paste the "SD" folder from the PC back to the card

I did the same, worked for me also.

[Q] Strange problem

Hi, everyone.
I was using RCMix S fantastic rom with 512 mb ext 3. I decided to go 1GB ext 4 with gparted and did everything that is shown noob proof guide. But i did a recovery to Leedroid 2.4.1 for some reasons.
After partitioning, my PC can't find folders that can be seen in before like DCIM folders.
When i check them with astro file manager DCIM and other folders are there.
But it gets stranger. I can transfer files from my PC to my sd card but astro and recovery mode can't find the folders, so i'm transfering the folders but cant use them
What can i do gparted again or ?

I would copy all files to the pc and then format the sd card.
Try to format the whole sd to fat32 and then use gparted to seperate it to 1 GB ext4 and the rest to fat32.
You could also try to format it again (as seen in the noob guide)
I'm not 100% sure, but it should work.

thanks for your reply, but i cant see any files from my PC that is on sd card. I can transfer files from pc to sd but cant see them in my desire even i search them with astro

Can you see the files (on the sd) on your pc?
Then I would try to copy them to your pc (just to be sure that they are safed).
After that you can format it again (then copy the files back) and try if it works.
PS: Can't you see the new files (from the pc - on your desire) with astro or no files at all?
Edit: You need to erase partitions and make FAT partition first (gparted -to format it right)

[Q] folder shortcut problem?

hi. I create a folder in sd card and shortcut to home screen. When i first click on the folder, i can see inside but second click on another sd card shortcut folder, i can’t see inside. Only see storage list (internal storage – sd storage)
But if i create folders in the internal storage, there is no problem.
Becuse of this i can’t use lg g3 file Explorer. is there any solution?
(so i use file explorer but has a problem when i want to move files from sd kart.)

[Q] Can't play games on Tab S T700 with apk and obb

Im downloading HD games ( apk & obb ) on my computer , then transfer these files ( apk & obb ) to my Tab S T700.
Buy it does not play the game. It will always ask me to download additional files on playstore where in fact I already have
the obb files copied to Android>obb>here

Should be on the internal memory sd card.
