I just had done setting up for my IIs with tomtom. But I have find out that if I using tomtom and answer the call, their well be a problem. Well, I have not problem answer my call, but once I hang up, the tomtom GPS was lost connection. It just says, “GPS device not find”. Is that normal? Is their any thing I can do about it?
If it's TTN5, it means that your reciever lost it's fix - does the little circle by the clock still move round in the GPS status window? if it does, then the BT connection is still working, you just have no sat fix.

i have the exact same problem! It didnt used to happen!
re lost gps
I have found that if i delete my bluetooth headset profile (jabra250) i can end a call without losing gps connection. maybe something to do with bluetooth update since last rom (OrangeUK) update. bt3500
Hi! Im using an iMate PDA2K with TomTom navigator 5.1 and a GlobalSat BT 338 receiver. Everything works but sometimes after using TT,I notice that the bluetooth icon in the lower tray has disappeared.I then have to go and click on the Run BT Tray file in the windows/startup folder to get it back.
anyone know why this is happening and the solution for this?
thanks in advance.

Hi
Cant help but I have a very similar problem.
Tomtom turns my BT off on exit from tt.
On some occassions the whole of BT manager and settings have frozen!
hope someone can help!
Just configure ir for normal cable gps instead of bluetooth...
hi
what is ir? what steps do i need to take?
I think the "ir" was a typo for it.....
I have configured it for "other wired GPS receiver and like I said, it works fine but sometimes (more often lately) when I exit from TT, the BT icon is not there in the system tray...
Have you got anything like the O2 active interface loaded onto the device, - if so get rid of it. This causes all sorts of instability, Once deleted mines been great, and with the new ROM from O2, its even better - Mike
nope, mine is the iMate version without any of the O2 stuff....
it's like the BT icon disappears randomly from the system tray....going to File Explorer and then the windows/startup folder and clicking on Run_BTTray gets it back.....and the BT works fine too..... :?
I have the 1.40 iMate ROM and apart from this, every thing seems to be peachy.....anyone got any clues what's going on????something is "closing" the BT in the system tray..how do I find out what it is and stop it....
since upgrading to tomtom6 my ba wont connect to my gps reciever, just says no gps device. if i reconfig it to bluetooth gps it trys to connect but wont even try with my wired gps iv even tried changing the gps. anyone got any ideas?
Which OS have you got on the BA?
If its WM2003SE have you gone to BT manager found the GPS unit tap and hold, then select "Connect" - BEFORE trying to configure the GPS in TT.
If its WM2005 have you selected the serial port mode and then set the outgoing Com port? - again this must be done BEFORE trying to configure the GPS in TT. - Mike
tomtom gps
im trying to use a wired gps reciever
In which case go to Start/ Settings/ Connections Tab select IrDA or Beam once in this page deselect the "Recieve all beams" check box, then try again with the TT unit (the IrDA stops the Com port from working) - Mike
job done
many thanx, wish i'd of asked before buying a new cradle and gps lol.
Hi,
I upgraded my ROM from WM6 to WM6.1 (Kavana's ROM) a couple of days ago, but my Route 66 N7 software can't work with my Adapt AD-300 GPS receiver anymore.
It's quite weird: my phone finds the receiver, I can add it as device and the connection looks OK. Only Route 66 keeps complaining it can't find a receiver. There is no GPS signal on the receiver, but before the upgrade the software could see the receiver with just a good BT signal. Now: nothing.
I have tried everything: serial connection yes/no, secure connection yes/no, COM6/COM7, enable incoming beams/BT to my phone. Nothing helps.
Anyone know about issues between Bluetooth devices, maybe Adapt specifically, and WM 6.1?
Otherwise, is there any software with which I can check the BT connection on my phone itself?
Only thing I haven't tried yet is factory reset the GPS receiver itself (I removed the battery for a couple of minutes, but don't know if this is sufficient).
Bah, I like 6.1 too much to revert to 6.0
-mod-: oh right, my phone is an S620.
[REQ] "Locale" for WinMob (Programm to switch Bluetooth and Wifi on by shedule)
is there a programm which can be used to switch blueetooth and wifi on by shedule?
For example:
Monday to Friday i quit work at 18:30.
In my car I've got a bluetooth car-kit.
So the programm should just switch bluetooth on at 18:30.
19:00 I'm at home, so bluetooth should be switched of and wifi on
23:00 i go to bed and so wifi and bluetooth--->off
Is there a programm out there?
I know the programm "locale" for android which can do the things i mentioned above but it can also use gps and mobile-locating by gsm.
That would be awesome of course.
just imagine: U go to work and the programm just switches off the ringtones and sets it to vibtrate, switched off bluetooth and wifi and so one. Even if u go there earlier and so one because it locates u by gps or gsm.
So let me kno guys
Thx in advance
