Internet on M2000 via bluetooth mobile phone - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to use the internet on an M2000, but rather than connecting itself, to use a bluetooth connection to another mobile phone and it's GPRS connection (such as an SPV C500).
Has anyone tried this?
Is it possible?
Thanks
Ian

Dial up networking using SX66

Hi everybody,
when I try to connect my laptop to the internet using my SX66 and bluetooth, one of the following happens:
1) If gprs is already connected on the SX66, my laptop comes back and says 'phone is busy'.
2) If gprs is not connected, then I get a DUN connection, but no network connectivity. Connecting gprs then disconnects the DUN.
Is there a solution for this annoying crap? My old SE T616 let me DUN with my laptop just fine.
Could wiring the laptop to the SX66 with activesync, and some 3rd party app solve the problem?
thanks, I appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Also, could someone who has NOT applied the latest Siemens patch tell me if they get they same behavior?
update
Since I got the SX66, I've noticed the following bug.
The GPRS symbol appears in white briefly when I start up the phone, and then disappears.
If I connect using GPRS, then I get a black symbol which seems to stay after I've disconnected.
IF I try DUN when there is a disconnected, lingering black GPRS symbol it works. But if I actually connect GPRS, then it hangs up the DUN.
??????
Now I have a working solution. Before using Bluetooth DUN, connect and disconnect GPRS.
Out of curiosity, is this business unique to the SX66, or common across the Blueangel platform?

XDA2s Bluetooth GPRS Dial-Up Networking

Hi,
Before I get the standard flame response, I have looked throughout these forums and searched the web for an answer to no avail. My question is this.
Could someone please give some indication as to why when I attempt to perform a DUN connection over bluetooth on to my O2 mobile web GPRS connection my laptop connects then immediately disconnects with an Error 619.
My XDA2s is on the upgrade that was released recently and my laptop previously had no problems connecting using my K700i.
If I try to connect via bluetooth and GSM (standard number dialed) I have no problems.
Many thanks for any responses, this is driving me nuts.

newbie question: Using IE through WiFI?

I just purchased a MDA III and would like to use IE through the WiFI, but the option is not available on the connection list. Is this possible? If so how do you do it? I am able to connect to the wireless network.
Thanks,
Just launch the wifi and start surffing....of course you have to get ip from the wifi network first.
This may help!

Can WM5 share the GPRS connection with a laptop?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if WM5 has wmodem or some other feature enabled which would allow the sharing of the GPRS internet connection with a laptop, either through bluetooth or USB. Thanks.

Connect to Internet over Bluetooth

Hi,
I've got a new phone so i'm only using my Orange M2000 as a PDA now.
Is there any way I can get it to connect to the internet over bluetooth as i've got unlimited data on my new Nokia phone.
As i'm no longer using it as a phone, I dont even mind installing a non-orange branded firmware if it's Orange that's removed the option and I have to.
Thanks
Ian
