HTC Desire Upgrade Costs

Hi all,
I think it would be a good idea to list what users have paid for their HTC Desire when upgrading through their service provider.
To make this a useful thread I suggest we keep to a simple format of key information: -
Country - UK
Service Provider - T-Mobile
Contract Length - 12 Months
Tariff Name - Flext 25 WnW
Monthly Cost - £27.50
Discount - Yes, Employee 1/2 line rental
Upgrade Price - £80 From T-Mobile (£110 From CarPhoneWarehouse and its unlocked)
Upgrade Date - 17/05/2010
My Upgrade is Due next month so I will update these details then, would love to know what others in the same situation are paying.
UPDATE 17/05/2010:
I have upgraded today, T-Mobile UK is out of stock so I asked if I could buy it from a store, they said yes but only a T-Mobile store, well I called around and no T-Mobile store has any stock! So I called CPW and they had stock and checked the discount and it still applies!
Remember that my deal includes a F&F discount, and this is the reason i have to pay towards the handset, not a big deal I'm happy!

Do employees still get 1/2 price line rental? I thought T-Mobile had stopped that cos peeps were selling them on to customers!

Let’s keep this thread just about cost and ask questions like this in other threads. But to answer your question, people who originally had a Employee or F&F discount are able to keep them.

Are they on it permanently then? Is it still possible to get F&F now?
The deal I was offered was the Business Unlimited tariff on T-Mobile - 24 month contract at £30 with free phone and 3 months free rental ..... is this good or bad?
Anyone with the discount has it until they end their contract by moving to another provider. AFAIK T-Mobile is no longer offering this discount, so if you don’t have it you won’t get it.
In terms of your deal, I have no idea if it is a good deal or not, why not compare it with what others have listed on this thread. Maybe you should list yours in a similar format, so to help others.
I’ll be upgrading in a few weeks so I’ll update my first post with the details then too.

Anyone bought it yet? Rooted? Roms work?
I've been playing with mine for a couple of hours. Still contemplating rooting it. I'm trying to figure out if Unrevoked will work with HBOOT 83.
PS: Nice piece of hardware!!
The device is amazing. Now does anyone have any ways to unlock the device? I'm planning to use it on rogers and so far im just playing around with the device.
Update: found this site cellunlock.net
Seems legit and u get 50% your order if u use the code crackb50
The only issue now is that it takes 3 business hours and so i'm going have to wait until monday.
If there are any other options let me know guys.

Seems that Cellunlock.net is the only site not refunding people's money right away. They should have codes shortly.
Bought a code from them yesterday evening (friday) for my Wildfire (Buzz) and got a working unlock code within 2 hours. And yes, i got the 50% rebate using the mentioned ref code wich made a total of $10.00 . So i can only say i'm pleased since i have to pay $45 in the closest mobile shop that can unlock it for me.

Ordering from OP site. is $399 including all taxes ?

i wonder if this $399 for phone+free shipping to USA, included all taxes ? Will the unit directly deliver to US address without have to pay any extra charge for the delivery service?
when I purchased mine on release day, it was $399 shipped (didn't order any extra stuff) to my door in Texas via DHL.

Awesome. Thanks. This is exactly what I wanted to know! :highfive:
no taxes free shipping to TX, USA
shipped via DHL, delivered by "courier"
399 is final price. No extra fees. Sounds weird since in USA we always pay extra fees
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Yah tax seems to be included when I bought at new York pop up event it was 399 and then I bout another case
---------- Post added at 06:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:23 AM ----------
Bought which was like 24.99
so, the OP3 was $399 at the opening event in NYC? No sales tax on it, thats awesome. But I heard that you'd get a free case at the event, was that not the case (situation)?
I had a fee of 15€ or 25€, I don't remember (ordered from France), because the payment went to Hong-Kong, and it's outside the EU zone...
I discovered that contacting the customer service, I didn't understand why I had to pay this fee... They don't warn you !
