I was wondering if anyone knows the complete list of files required to run the Wireless Manager and Wifi settings that ship with various BA ROMs such as the O2 and Imate ROMs, and also if these programs will run with all the necceesary files on Pocket PC 2002, if not does anyone kno a suitable alternative.

Dear All,
I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. I upgraded to the AKU 2 of Qtek 9000 and now when I install MemMaid 1.5 on my device, whether on the device or storage card, the internet gprs and Wifi will not access any of the favorites or emails in pocket outlook. IS anyone experiencing this as well? I tried it in all shapes and forms, and it messes the connection access up. Any other alternative to maintain the device in optimum condition?
Thanks,
Gilbert
Hi,
I have the Orange SPV M2000 with TuMa 1.3 rom set onboard. I'm trying to get my device to talk with my new Macbook using third party software from The Missing Sync. It is listed as working with WM2005 devices such as M5000 but i cannot get it to work with my BA. It seems to revolve around its inability to list activesyncing via BT as one of the BT services available. I have been in touch with the Missing Sync guys but no joy as yet. Any thoughts here?
The process sugested by Missing Sync is to set up a new BT partnership via the activesync tool on the BA. The two devices recognise each other and even seem to pair but after that no joy. Apparantly Activesync should be listed as a BT service but it isn't...
Really appreciate any help on this one.
Hi,
currently I'm running Black WM6, but I have huge problem to set my orangeworld connection. Somehow I'm missing the proxy tab (I was also in Orange shop but no luck). So I tried to search for answer here, but mostly I found that this ROM is old. So the question is, which one to use? There are too many ROM's out there.
What I need is clean system (basic stuff) with GSM (3G/video), internet connection (orangeworld), SMS/MMS, camera, sim manager, synchronization with exchange via cable/internet.
What I don't need is Office Mobile, messanger, windows live, etc. I'm not using the build in applications anyway, I found better ones (Inesoft, SPB, Page Maker).
Thanks in advance for any hint.
I need help accessing my shared folders on my LAN when connected to my router via Wifi.
I can access the internet in IE from my Artemis but cannot access folders on my PC!
I'm sure with my old Alpine (which died and was replaced by O2 with the Artemis) I was able to do this by simply browsing the local IP - I definately could use remote desktop.
I want to be able to open files residing on my PC from my PPC but can't find any apps. When trying to do it in IE I get an error saying "The network path was not found." ( I put \\192.168.11.2\c$ in the browser)
Please can someone tell me what I'm not doing or doing wrong? If it's simply security/authentication configuration I need to sort out, please can someone write me a basic tutorial?
Thanking all in advance,
a desperate PPC enthusiast

Try Resco Explorer. It can access to shared folders on PC.
Or try the network plugin from HTC. Is included in almost all ROMs
many thanks guys, I downloaded Resco Explorer... looks good
If anyone else needs the network plugin, I found one thanks to the others advice at

cheers again for a job well done!

I had a bit of an issue trying to get this working too, but now i have it sorted and i have acces to my entire home network via my Orbit, its great. The best way I find is to make sure you have turned on file and printer sharing , added permission for "Full Control" for "Everyone" on the folder/file you want to share, install the HTC Network Plugin and finally you can use either standard folder (if you make network folder visible using HTC Network Plugin) , or use Resco Explorer (which I recommend as its very good). I have HTC Network plugin and Resco Explorer if ya need them.
I haven't found htc network plugin so if you can make it available, I'm sure it would help me and others with the same requirements.... many, many thanks for your input friend.

Hi all, like many I want music/videos over wifi! Tried lots of searching, and lots of 'tips'.
I have T7373 - Rhod100, 6.5 (SEA) WWE rom (3.5 net), ASUS RT-N56U with USB drive/app, and the rest of LAN is W7. (HOMEGROUP, WORKGROUP, and LAN-USB app all work among other devices.)
WM6.5, MP will play a single song (very long path!) from LAN-USB.
With various versions of NETWORK FOLDER PLUGIN (and Network Browser) I can see the machines (but not the directories) on LAN, and when I try to attach or map I can see that WM can tell if there is a password/username active before telling me it failed. (NB will also see other routers and such.)
Since I cannot see the directories, I am using locations similar to what works in W7 for WORKGROUP - ie \\ASUS\AiDisk_a1 and also trying \\ASUS\Music to get to LAN-USB, and \\Z\C to get to W7 machine.
I think I'm (and many others) missing something very basic here. The WM6.5 tries and just does not map - can anyone help?
THX!
