One way is to go to
Start -> Programs -> Clear Storage
Click on 'Clear Storage' and follow onscreen instructions
EVERYTHING GOES AFTER THIS!!!!

The other way to do a hard reset and clean everything is to press both system softkey buttons on the unit, and push the stylus into the reset button on the back, whilst holding these two buttons on the keyboard...
This will delete EVERYTHING on the phone, and reset it to factory settings, reinstalling the Extended ROM files after going through the speel of first activation (time, date, timezone...) etc.

i flashed my old Qtek 9090 and now i'm stuck on "Serial v2.08" screen.
no Hard or Soft reset helps :-(

try CAMERA + RECORD + RESET
or POWER + CAMERA+RESET
that's a symptom of a bad ROM flashing. reflash again.
power + record + reet = send me to USB / serial v2.08 screen
power + camera + record + reset = send me to the 4 colored band screen
:-(
i can reflash my qtek 9090 as many times as i want i still have the same issue...

is there a way how to format storage via mtty ?
or a sure way how to upgrade to WM6..
because i've read and tried a lot of those post from this forum without success.
I flashed maybe 35 other Qtek (Hermes) without any problem and also update some features... but this Blue angel is making me crazy :-(

hold camera+record then softreset(still holding camera+record)

I've also been in the situation that O2 Steath is suspeded when I used MiniSD, It've just run in the blue level and after that it suspended. After I reset it the light of Call and Reject are turned on but the Screen had no sysnal. Could anybody help me to rescue my devide? And what is the problem with my device?

• The device doesn't boot, I see only O2 logo. Hard reset doesn't help and the Firmware update process stops with the first message?
1. turn off the device;
2. enter engineering mode;
3. in Main menu choose Boot Config;
4. in Configuration menu choose EBOOT-Launch Image;
5. turn off the device;
6. now hard reset or upgrade firmware.
Sometimes helps another method: leave the device without the battery for about 30 minutes, then turn your O2 XDA Stealth on.
• How to enter engeneering mode?
1. turn off your O2 XDA Stealth ;
2. hold Flag, OK and Camera + press and hold Power button;
3. use navigation buttons to select the settings.

I can't hard reset either
I have followed all of the directions on the wiki, I have even tried to install another rom and it still will not remove all of the data, it changed the information in the about section of my settings but that's it. I want to change ROMs but it is not working. any ideas?
What version of windows is on your PC?
also try the enter BL which is on most ROMs
Hard Reset
To hard reset you do a soft reset (power + reset)
and before it shows the version numbers at the bottom you have to press Record + Camera & also power (i think) and then you come to an options screen using the record button to go down the list and camera to select you select Yes for option 2 and 3 and then hit the mail button to apply.

swick off button & rest buton in the same time but take care if is not the original windows you may have problems
Warm Boot: Reset the unit by pressing reset button.
Cold Boot: Press Power ++ Reset the unit simultaneously.
Read this. It's how to hard reset your BA. Hope it helps. Make sure you already formated the storage.

Hi I Have Orange SPV M650 Hi Was Not Starting I Make Hard Rest But screen was not appernce but i press recod key and power on hi has on with multi coulors but dont connect to pc sound was appers but dont connect wich pc or Active Sync PLzz Help me I Verry Thankful to u... i m still waiting for replys and sorry for my english... brothers.. :-(

I think you're wrong in doing a hard reset the device
so how to do a hard reset
To perform a hard reset
Press and hold the Left SOFT KEY and the Right SOFT KEY, and at the same time, use the stylus to press the RESET button at the lower left side of your device.
Release the stylus, but continue pressing the two soft key buttons. Release them only when you see the following message on your device screen: “Press Send to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.“
Press on your device. Warning! Your device will be set back to factory default settings. Please ensure any additional installed programs and/or user data have been backed up before a hard reset is performed.
