Hardware- side screws falling out - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hey all,
The side screws on my BA fell out! there are two opposite of eachother on the upper half ot the side of the screen. They are TINY, and i'm just wondering if anyone knows of where to get replacements, or of any screws that will fit. This annoys me much, thanks all.

Help, stuck pen/wand

HI there all,
Anyone got advise on removing a broken off wand tip stuck in my O2 Orbit, tried the four screws on the back put no real movement.
Thanks
Jez
I have heard that once you have the 4 screws out it just takes a little more bravery until the case comes apart...
Another option if the hollow portion of the stylus is viewable from the bottom is to stick an appropriate sized scew in there twist a little clock-wise and pull it out.

My screen is now Rocking, Worn Pads?

Hey guys
So I have had my Z for 2 weeks and love it for the most part…faster and a crap load more enjoyable than the X10 it replaced. I am having some hardware issues however and was curious if I am alone on this one or others have had the same issue.
The hinge has become pretty loose now and the phone flops open regardless of what side I hold it from but in reality that is somewhat moot as who holds their phone from just one side lol?
The real issue I am having recently is the 6 little rubber stop pads on the underside of the screen’s left side/edge. Now there are 2 thicker rectangular stop pads on the right side’s corners adhered to the phones main body and the 6 little rubber pads on the left are attached to the screen and are there to compensate for the opposite rectangular pads so that the phone has both a buffer and a balance between sides so it sits flush, quiet, and secure.
Well somehow or for some reason those little 6 in a row rectangular pads have either pushed in too far to their respective channel or they have flattened via not regained their density/thickness as now they are flush with the screen’s underside and as a result leave a gap. So when I push, even lightly, on the center to left of the screen is makes a physical and audible click as it teeters down to touch the keyboard underneath and the right side compensates by lifting up and off the 2 corner rubber pads. Essentially the phones center area has become a fulcrum and I am sure that is not healthy on the hinge.
Has anyone else had this odd but irritating issue with theirs or am I alone here?
Perhaps I can try to find a thicker pad I can cut up to replace the strip of 6
I am alone in this one hey?
Lame...technology and I just don't mix!

No sir I'm on with you on this one. I started a thread about the annoying teeter or the screen a few weeks ago, and alot of people have it. I dont think its due to the pads, but more on the face of how the hinge is designed. It makes it so the screen doesn't sit flat enough. I know that they wanted to make the htc vision slim, but it caused some problems.

Interesting!
Thicker pads would remedy it while closed but once opened the thicker pads would not allow the screen to sit flush at the top of the keyboard
yeah, and honestly it hinders the device greatly because its so annoying. Oh well. Its okay! Still a great Phoenix.

well there's some guy who came up with a DIY fix on the dev section (I think) requires a lot of disassembly but looks worth it. I'd try it myself if I had all the right screw bits.

I think that's only the hinge, not the screen. But I'd do it to if i had them.

Bummer...I can see this rocking causing stress on the hinges down the road.

Gap between top of bezel and casing?

Hi all,
Just got my HOX on Friday. I have noticed that there is a small gap in between the top of the bezel and the casing on my device. It has started to collect bits of grit.
I was wondering if people could check their phones and see if this gap is present for them - or whether this is not normal.
Thanks a lot

no gap here!
Just had a look.....
And yeah I have a small gap, the smallest of gaps will always collect dust =/
A small soft paint brush seemed to have done the job removing the dust...
Yeah. There is a very small gap. I use a post-it note and carefully remove any dirt. I'll eventually get fed up of doing this and just live with the dust.

Dropped on head. Dented metalic part around screen. What do?

Hi,
I accidentally dropped my phone from about 120cm high on it's top left corner. The metallic border around the screen got dented and now popped out a bit in that corner. I would like to know if it can be replaced easily, or I should go find a guy to fix it. I can't seem to find anything less than the whole front and back and that costs around $35 here. It's not really a big big deal but dust will get in there and it really bugs me. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Pictures below.
Thank you.

[Q] gap between glass and edge of phone

After about a few days of owning this phone, I noticed that I have a gap between the glass and the top rim of my phone. I'm really noticing it now more than before because of the amount of dust that is building up. The gap isn't on any of the other three edges. Does anybody else have this issue?
I don't have a good way to snap a picture of my phone right now but it's really similar to this guy: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z1-Compact/Z1c-Screen-Issues/td-p/704223
Not much response to his questions, which is why I'm asking.
I too have the similar issue. But, If you look close enough(at right light), you can see the dust at the bottom gap as well. This dust doesn't seem to go even after a swim/wash. And this dust thing does bother me a lot sometimes.

I don't have any dust at the bottom since there isn't a gap. The top gap is about .75mm wide. Not huge by any means but big enough to notice. I almost feel it would be better if it were even all the way around. Dust on only one edge looks more obvious to me.
