Same as wm2003
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\AppDefSettings\P4]
"Enable" Set to 1 to enable and 0 to disable.

Yup, you go to "settings" / "screen"...
There are settings for you to set it in landscape (left / right handed mode) too!
Hope this helps.. Cheers.
I have tried it just like u said, but when u slide open the keyboard and slide close it, it's back 2 portrait mode lol
does anyone really got the answer please?

Before u POST i think u should try it first!!! change u'r device at landscape mode, open u'r hardware keyboard then close it, is it still at landscape mode lol? already answered? Not yet i think
calm down
Seems not so easy to make permanent change to landscape... yes, if you change in settings, all is ok until you open the kb and close it.
Take a look at this post from Wizard forum... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=304136 (find searching in google )
Seems like need to change the sensor who make the change when open/close the kb.
What about a little research?
Regards.
You can just stick a magnet to the side of the phone by where the call keys are at and that'll keep your phone in landscape mode

Yes, sure i know too the issue with magnet and the camera sensor...
But really seems the fix for this is not so easy...i've tried same changes on the registry, but no success.
Well, now i have mapped the Camera button to the Rotate Screen function (this can be done in Settings /System /Screen), so i can change back to landscape pressing only one button, when close the keyboard.
Regards.

I have an s630 and I have Accessibility under settings. The first option is font size. Odd that your Dopod isn't the same.
yeah the dopods do not have it...
when you change it under accessibilty, do you know which registry entry it changes? is it the one noted on this thread?
that's exactly what he meant
works too

I was looking through the forum the other day and i found this, it is a way to keep the screen on during a call for the kaiser:
-Screen Going Off Durning a Call Bother You?
If you would like it to never go of during a call then edit this registry key
\HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\EnableFastDormantDisplay DuringCall
From "1" to "0"

I have looked fr the mentioned registry entry int he hermes and i cannot find it, but there must be an equivalent somewhere.

Locate - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM\.
Then - create a new DWORD value named SMSInboxThreadingDisabled and set value to 1.
Or download and run this cab file for quick and easy solution (all it does is make the reg entries for you)
Restart your device and threaded text messages are gone.
